British Defense Secretary Wallace recently visited Kyiv, but only told about it now

British Defense Minister Ben Wallace visited the Ukrainian capital Kyiv this week. Interestingly, he wrote about the trip on the social network only today, when he had already returned to the UK.
The head of the British military department stressed that he was pleased with his visit to the Ukrainian capital. In Kyiv, he held talks with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov, whom he called his "good friend".
According to Wallace, issues of additional military assistance to Ukraine were discussed during the meeting. As the minister noted, support from the UK will only grow and continue into 2023 and beyond.
What conclusions can be drawn? Firstly, the hasty and not advertised trip of the head of the military department of one of the most Russophobic countries in the world to Kyiv was undoubtedly associated with the partial mobilization announced in Russia and Moscow's transition to a qualitatively different format of warfare.
Secondly, Wallace clearly does not want to talk about what exactly was discussed with the leadership of the Ukrainian army, what results were reached during the meeting.
Thirdly, the West is not set to end the conflict either this year or even in 2023. This directly follows from the promises to support Ukraine's resistance to Russia "until 2023 and beyond."
