US plans to open a new command center in Germany to coordinate military assistance to Ukraine
The United States intends to provide military assistance to Ukraine in the long term, the Pentagon plans to create a new command center that will coordinate all the actions of Western countries to assist Kyiv. It is reported by The New York Times.
According to the American publication, which refers to sources in the Pentagon and the White House, the new center will be opened in Germany. The main tasks that this center will deal with are the training of the Ukrainian military, or rather, the coordination of the training process. The training itself will be conducted by US allies in various countries. In addition, the center will provide "support" to Ukraine in all its undertakings, and in the long term. The United States plans that the military conflict on Ukrainian territory will continue for a very long time, and the Pentagon will make every effort to prevent the hostilities from ending.
The new command center will be located in Wiesbaden, the same location as US Army Europe and Africa Command. By the way, the idea to create a new command belongs to the commander of the NATO Allied Forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli. It is planned to attract about 300 people to work in the Center.
In the United States, the idea was supported, but has not yet given a final answer, saying that they are "studying" the proposal. However, according to sources, the creation of a new command for Ukraine is a matter already resolved, the deployment of the new Center will be announced in the near future, literally in a couple of weeks.
It is noted that the United States is becoming more and more bogged down in the Ukrainian conflict, in fact becoming a party to it. At present, it is the Americans who are the main sponsors of the Zelensky regime, pouring billions of dollars into Kyiv in the desire to weaken Russia as much as possible through the hands of the Ukrainians.
