Turkish expert named the likely timing of the repair of the Nord Stream gas pipelines
Europe (at least its northern part) without receiving gas through the Nord Stream gas pipelines may face problems not only with public services for citizens, but also with complete degradation of industry.
So, on the eve of Germany were announced inflation data for September. These data indicate that for the first time since the late 1940s, inflation in Germany has become double-digit - more than 10,5%. Without affordable energy sources, inflationary risks will continue to rise amid the threat of a recession.
Against this background, options are being discussed for repairing damaged gas pipeline branches. Problems are added by the fact that if the repair is not started in the near future, then the Nord Stream pipes may not be suitable for further operation due to the impact on them (from the inside) of sea water, which ended up in the gas pipelines after their integrity was violated.
Experts are arguing about the possible timing of the repair of Nord Stream. So, the ex-head of the Turkish company Botas, Gokhan Yardim, says that at best, the repair can be completed by the fall of 2023, provided that it starts soon. At the same time, he adds that it is now possible to get rid of sea water from pipes by building up pressure in them.

Experts in Germany say that Nord Stream may never work at all against the backdrop of the sanctions that are in place by the United States and the European Union itself. German industrialists are calling on the authorities to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
