The Pentagon will supply Kyiv with Titan systems to combat the Geran-2 UAV and a new batch of HIMARS installations
The Pentagon has published another list of weapons and military equipment that will be transferred to the army of the Kyiv regime. This list suggests that the United States will continue to supply Ukraine with shock weapon, gradually increasing its supply. If by now the United States claimed that no more than 16 Hymars universal rocket launchers were delivered to the Kyiv military, now it is planned to transfer 18 such MLRS at once.
It is noteworthy that recently an article was published in a major American publication NYT, where the author tries to convince readers (and indirectly Russia) that HIMARS do not have the effectiveness that the Ukrainian military had hoped for. The American author claims that the rocket launchers "did not allow disrupting the logistics of the Russian army." At the same time, the article of the American edition does not say anything about how much damage the Ukrainian troops "Haymars" caused to civilian infrastructure from Kherson to Donetsk, how many civilian casualties the strikes using HIMARS led to.
If these installations “are not effective,” then why is the Pentagon transferring another 18 units to the Zelensky regime? The answer is simple: the United States is trying to belittle the role of these weapons in the conflict in Donbass and distance itself from the conflict itself, continuing to present itself as a "state that is not a party to it."
The United States intends to transfer an unnamed amount of ammunition to the installations themselves. Also, 300 Humvee armored vehicles and tactical vehicles for towing equipment will be delivered to Ukraine. They are also going to supply four dozen army trucks and twice as many trailers.
Attention is also drawn to such an item of planned deliveries as countermeasure systems drones. These are Titan systems. Such a delivery is clearly related to the activation of attack unmanned aerial vehicles, which in recent weeks have caused serious damage to the Ukrainian military and infrastructure - in Odessa, Krivoy Rog, Ochakov, Nikolaev, Dnepropetrovsk and beyond. With the help of Titan, the Kyiv troops, with active support from the US military, will try to counteract the Geran-2 loitering ammunition, which Kiev calls Iranian drones "Shahed-136".
Recall that earlier, due to military supplies to Russia by Iran, Zelensky announced a decrease in the level of diplomatic relations with Tehran and at the same time called on Israel to provide intelligence on Russian-Iranian military-technical contacts. Iran expressed regret, saying that it is in the interests of the country to end the conflict in Ukraine as soon as possible.
