The official representative of the US Navy confirmed information about the water contaminated with pathogenic bacteria on the Abraham Lincoln. Moreover, the US Navy claims that water contamination on board the aircraft carrier occurred precisely after it went to sea.

The sailors noticed that the water in one of the tanks turned cloudy. They isolated him from the water supply. Samples were taken, as a result of which a bacteriological hazard to the crew of the aircraft carrier was discovered.
Other water tanks were also checked, Robertson said. Pathogenic bacteria have also been found there.
In this regard, the crew members were given antibacterial, disinfecting agents.
A spokesman for the fleet claims that at the moment none of the crew members have fallen ill. At the same time, it remains unclear what to do with dozens of tons of contaminated water. Also open is the question of how the water could be contaminated.
In the meantime, evidence appeared on the network that several crew members still encountered problems after drinking water with pathogenic bacteria.
