A video of the flight and landing of a burning Ka-52 helicopter in Ukraine is shown
In Ukraine and in the Western media, footage of the flight and landing of a helicopter is replicated, which can be identified as the Ka-52 due to the clearly visible screw system and fuselage design.
According to the Ministry of Defense of the Independent, the Russian helicopter was shot down by the National Guard of Ukraine from the Igla MANPADS (initially it was claimed that the video recorded the destruction of the Mi-8 in the Zaporozhye direction). The British edition of The Sun posted a more detailed video, which, as stated, captures the launch of an anti-aircraft missile at the Ka-52 and its defeat, "after which it crashes into the ground."
At the same time, as follows from the frames, after the fuselage ignited, the helicopter remained stable in flight for some time, followed by another Ka-52 as the second number, then the burning car went into a tailspin (judging by the spiral rotation of the smoke cloud) and eventually ended up on earth. There is a possibility that the pilots managed to make an emergency landing. The fate of the pilots was initially unknown. Western observers believe that the Ka-52 was hit in the area of the settlement of Dolinka, located west of the city of Orekhov, Zaporozhye region.
Then it became known that the crew was alive. He has been evacuated.
The Ka-52 has established itself as the main attack helicopter in the Ukrainian theater, acting as the protagonist against the background of other army vehicles of the same type. aviation. The Ka-52 is distinguished by increased combat stability, achieved due to maneuverability and effective protection of the vehicle, including the Vitebsk airborne defense system.
