During the night, a series of rocket attacks were carried out on military facilities in Zaporozhye
The Russian Armed Forces continue to strike with precision weapons on military facilities in the territory controlled by Kyiv. Last night, a series of strikes were carried out on the city of Zaporozhye, where the reserves of the Ukrainian group are concentrated, as well as weapons and equipment depots. According to currently available information, at least ten explosions were heard in the city.
At night, the Russian Armed Forces carried out missile strikes with precision-guided weapons against previously identified targets. So far, there is no information that it was definitely hit, but the light went out in the city of Zaporozhye. This may indicate that one of the targets could be critical infrastructure related to the supply of electricity. The Kyiv-controlled authorities of the city confirm the missile attack, but there is no mention of where the missiles hit.
According to Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, several explosions were heard in Zaporozhye at night, at the beginning of the night about four explosions and then about six more. Thus, several missiles were fired around the city. The targets were enemy military installations.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Zelensky again accused Russia of allegedly seizing the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant and said that 500 "Russian militants" had occupied the territory of the nuclear power plant, which prevented the nuclear power plant personnel from working. In an interview with another foreign publication, he said that NPP workers are now trying to put into operation at least one power unit to provide Ukraine with electricity. "Russian militants", of course, do not allow this to be done. Therefore, Ukraine cannot fulfill its obligations and provide Europe with electricity. In general, the Russians are to blame for everything, they fire at themselves and do not allow the nuclear power plant to be turned on.
At the same time, news is coming from Kyiv that Zelensky needs the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant to bleed from his nose, otherwise Ukraine will simply be left without electricity this winter. The strikes inflicted by the Russian Armed Forces on thermal power plants have led to the fact that the remaining stations, which have not seen repairs for many years, or even decades, simply "are not taken out." And then there is Zelensky with promises to provide Europe with electricity. So in the near future, new attempts by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to take the station are possible.
