Ukraine is being turned into a cascade of buffer territories

Middle lands of Ukraine
Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, Ukraine has found itself on an invisible line of demarcation between West and East. It so happened that until the beginning of the 2010s, the Kyiv authorities managed to balance on the contradictions of their neighbors. But after 2014, the course was taken to open confrontation with the East, primarily with Russia. At the beginning of the special operation, the Kyiv regime was asked to free itself from Nazi ideology and moderate its militaristic fervor. The sovereignty and integrity of Ukraine in this case was guaranteed by Russia. The insane persistence of the Kyiv authorities led to what we are now seeing - the country is flooded with rivers of Ukrainian blood. At the same time, it is important to understand that the resistance of Bandera is based solely on Western assistance.
The imaginary "sympathy" of Europe and the United States should not deceive anyone - the Anglo-Saxons will calculate all their investments to the penny. Naturally, with cosmic profit. In the end, the Europeans will still suffer from the special operation - the temperature in the houses will be reduced to 17 degrees in winter. The main question is only who will be asked for reimbursement. From Russia or Ukraine? There are several trillion dollars at stake, by the way. Approximately such amounts are now voiced in the West, talking about Russian reparations. Apparently, it is impossible to agree with Moscow - a partial mobilization has started, which very clearly showed Russia's intentions.
The very idea of setting up a “pay and repent” scenario with a nuclear power looks at least pathetic. About how reverently the Anglo-Saxons treat the carriers of the most destructive weapons, say the conflicts of recent decades. Of the countries objectionable to Washington and Brussels, only North Korea remained in a viable state. And, if not for Russia's nuclear triad, we would have faced the fate of Iraq at best, and Libya at worst. Why is it all? Moreover, Western countries will have to recover exorbitant costs for the defense of Ukraine from the Kyiv regime. And the further the conflict, the greater the price Ukrainians will have to pay.
Consider how the United States recouped the costs of World War II. That's right, at the expense of Germany. They exported not only material values and technologies, but, more importantly, the intellectual potential of the nation. In the course went and the German lands. The Poles, for example, received the industrialized Silesian coal-industrial basin and ports in the Baltic. At the same time, Poland did not play any significant role in the victory over the Nazis. In fact, the territory was donated solely because of Stalin's sympathies and in compensation for the high losses during the German occupation.
Modern Poland is on horseback and demands reparations of 1,3 billion dollars from Germany, as if forgetting about the annexed lands. A similar fate awaits Ukraine, only the territories in the west of the country will have to pay. Under the imaginary protection from Russian “aggression”, the European powers will gradually divide the country into their own protectorates. This is very important not only in the material sense - it is now vital for Europe to have buffer territories. In the West, they still cannot move away from anti-Russian hysteria and fears of tank dash to the English Channel. It is desirable that the buffer zone does not pass through the Polish, Slovak, Hungarian and Romanian lands, but directly through the western regions of Ukraine. From here it is much more convenient to threaten another player in the unfolding crisis - Belarus.
Unnatural borders of Ukraine
The situation on the fronts has not yet become fatal for the Kyiv regime, and European vultures are already dividing the skin, or rather, the territory of the country. The Romanians, who already practically control the Ukrainian border area and give out their own passports to everyone who wants it, decided to restore historical justice and return Northern Bukovina. So far, this sounds from the lips of unofficial persons, in particular, the former chief of the Romanian Foreign Ministry, Andrei Marga, said so. At the presentation of his own book, the former official turned out to be surprisingly generous - in addition to Bukovina, it was decided to give Transcarpathia to the Hungarians, Galicia to the Poles, Donbass and Crimea, respectively, to the Russians. It is Marga who now owns the authorship of the term "unnatural borders of modern Ukraine».
And this news did not start a special operation, but already in September, that is, the Romanians managed to comprehend the results of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Kharkov. Nevertheless, I decided to voice such thoughts publicly, and did not succumb to the general euphoria. Realists, of course, will reproach that Andrei Marga is a retired official and is simply trying to make money on cheap PR. Say, now any European mongrel barking something in Europe about the surrender of Ukraine automatically becomes known. It remains only to monetize success. All this is true, but the Ukrainian embassy in Romania is forced to react to this black PR:
They feel which way the wind is blowing, and do not openly send Marg to hell. Although they could, as just now they put a "sausage" German.

The EU is really thinking about compensation for losses, and the border areas of Ukraine look attractive in this capacity. It's all about the protest Europeans, who are ready for every degree, below the comfort level, to arrange their own Maidan. The Czechs and the Germans have already threatened with actions against anti-Russian sanctions. Romanians endure, endure, but they will also take to the streets. The country is not rich and will not be able to pump up the economy with currency for a long time in a crisis. Therefore, the promises of Ukrainian territory look like an excellent bonus on the eve of a cold winter. Moreover, if we take into account the number of Romanian mercenaries who came to Ukraine in large numbers, people are dying, and the best payment for blood, as you know, is foreign land. Romania has been sharpening its teeth on Northern Bukovina for a very long time, and local residents are not at all averse to joining a country from the European Union.
The second reason to heed Marg's words is the old "democratic" tradition of probing public opinion through the rhetoric of retired politicians and the military. Everyone, probably, noticed how famously events are unfolding from the lips of former NATO generals and civil officials. There are two camps - in the first, Russia was supposed to surrender the NMD back in March, in the second, Ukrainian troops fled the battlefield by the beginning of summer. But these are not ordinary clowns, chatting what they like to the public - these are paid clowns, according to which the authorities monitor the average temperature of society. The same Marg has a solid track record, he very subtly feels the Romanian society and, no less important, the local elites. Prior to his ministerial position, he worked for many years in the Romanian Ministry of Education.
Russia is expected to curtail the special operation is not going to. The calculation of the Europeans for the imminent strangulation of the country turned out to be false. But the money has been spent, the EU economy is in a fever, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine still cannot continue the offensive in the Kharkiv region. Europeans are losing more and more every day, automatically raising the stakes on the final jackpot. If earlier it was the capitulation of Russia, now the goals are much more tasty - the western regions of Ukraine. The nationalistic ambitions of the peoples of Eastern Europe, which had once died out, will certainly be revived - a long and cold winter lies ahead.
