Command and staff exercises were held in Belarus, which were attended by foreign observers
Against the backdrop of a difficult geopolitical situation, the authorities of Belarus continue to strengthen the defense capability of their country.
Last week, command and staff exercises were held in the Republic of Belarus, during which the Belarusian and military worked out the liberation of territories occupied by a mock enemy, restoration of control over the state border, air support for troops and other tasks.
Tellingly, the leadership of Belarus invited foreign observers.
About the course of the first training aviation within the framework of the exercises, the head of flights at the training ground, Lieutenant Colonel Andrey Nazin, spoke. According to him, among other tasks, attack aircraft worked out strikes against enemy strongholds, and MI-8 helicopters carried out a tactical airborne landing.
It is worth noting that against the backdrop of a sharp aggravation of relations with the West, the Belarusian leadership apparently decided to demonstrate readiness for any, even the most negative, scenario. Probably, it was for this purpose that foreign observers were invited to the staff exercises.
In this case, the tasks of liberating the occupied territories and restoring the integrity of the state border deserve special attention. After all, the Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko has repeatedly stated about the militant attitude on the part of neighboring Poland, which is conspicuously concentrating forces near the Belarusian border.
