It is reported about strikes at once on two Ukrainian thermal power plants, electricity was lost in half of the regions of Left-Bank Ukraine
A series of explosions thundered on the territory of the Kharkov and Poltava regions of Ukraine, after which the light went out in half of the regions of the Left-Bank Ukraine.
With a high probability, the strikes were carried out on some important object of Ukrainian infrastructure, since electricity was lost not only in Kharkiv itself and the region, but also in other regions of Ukraine. It is reported that the light disappeared in the Poltava, Sumy, Dnepropetrovsk and Donetsk regions.
The Dergachev City Council reports a strike on "critical infrastructure facilities" located in Kharkiv, but no details are given. Presumably, it arrived at CHPP-5, one of the largest combined heat and power plants in Ukraine. The station is located on the outskirts of Kharkov and just belongs to Dergachi. The second station, judging by the messages that have appeared, is the Kremenchug TPP in the Poltava region.
The situation is better than you can imagine: today, the sixth power unit of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, which fell out of the energy system of Ukraine, is turned off, and now strikes are being made on two main thermal power plants of Left-Bank Ukraine at once, which immediately knocks Kharkiv and Poltava regions out of the network. The redistribution of the load did not help and the networks of the Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye and Odessa regions fell down.
If we draw parallels with the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, it is clearly the Ukrainian troops that are shelling themselves in order to blame Russia later. But seriously, hitting two or three thermal power plants at once is already grown-up, stop playing spillikins with Kyiv.
Presumably, the strikes were carried out by sea-based Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea, but there is no official information that it was Russia that launched the strikes, and it is possible that there will not be. The option of shelling the Armed Forces of Ukraine themselves also has the right to exist.
