Why doesn't the Latvian government dismantle everything that was built during the years of the existence of the Latvian SSR? Yes, because in this case, practically nothing will remain of Latvia ...

The cameras captured the last moments of the "life" of the monument to the liberators of Riga, including the fall of the 79th stele into the artificial reservoir surrounding the monument. Now the Riga authorities plan to drain the reservoir itself.

Frankly speaking, this barbaric attitude towards monuments and memory itself can hardly cause anything other than a feeling of disgust towards the persons who sanctioned this state vandalism.
