American reporters were interested in a Pentagon report indicating the death of a US Army soldier in Lithuania

The US military department has published a report on some of the losses among its military personnel. The United States was bewildered by the line in which one of the dead in Lithuania is indicated. In this regard, American reporters sent requests to the Pentagon with a request to clarify under what circumstances an American soldier died in the Baltics.
The US military department reports that the loss is not related to military exercises and other military maneuvers in Lithuania.
It turned out that US Army Sergeant Robert Magallan died on July 27 in the port of Klaipeda. He was driving a rented car and approached the bridge on the Dane River, which by that time had been divorced.
The American soldier literally flew onto the bridge, from where the car fell into the river. Divers were connected to the search, who a few hours later found the body of a sergeant.
At the same time, the Pentagon does not say that death was caused by drowning. A version is also being considered that the heart of a soldier for some unknown reason stopped even while moving to the bridge.
Incident entrusted to investigate the Lithuanian police.
The representative of the American contingent in Lithuania, Jeff Castro:
The Lithuanian side is engaged in this investigation because it has more sources of information here.
American journalists have not yet received any comments from the Lithuanian police.
