NATO urged to strengthen the "weakest point" of the alliance in the Black Sea region to "contain Russia"
Russia has significantly strengthened itself in the Black Sea region, "capturing" the Crimea and increasing the grouping of ships. NATO has successfully countered Russia on this flank, but there is one weak point that Russia can exploit.
According to Bloomberg, NATO intends to continue to contain Russia in the Black Sea region, but for this it is necessary to urgently strengthen Romania. According to Western analysts, this particular country is a weak point that Russia can take advantage of.

In order to "contain Russian plans," the leadership of the alliance decided to build several bases on the territory of Romania and deploy an additional NATO military contingent. We are talking about the deployment of a motorized infantry brigade of up to 5 thousand people in addition to the same number of NATO troops already stationed there.
NATO intends to turn Romania into a kind of outpost of the alliance on the Black Sea, and in Bucharest they have nothing against it. According to reports, the alliance allocates an amount of approximately $12,2 billion for the construction of military infrastructure, and this is not the limit. It is planned to deploy American Patriot air defense systems on the territory of the country, deploy fighters from NATO, but in reality American ones, and also strengthen the naval component of defense.
As recently stated in the Romanian Ministry of Defense, the Romanian army alone will not cope with the "Russian threat", so the country needs to deploy an additional NATO contingent.
