State tests of a new low-Earth orbit monitoring radar have been completed

Russia has completed state tests of a new radar station that allows tracking small spacecraft and satellites. This was announced by the chief designer of the early warning system Sergey Boev.
According to the general director of IAC Vympel, the new radar station allows round-the-clock tracking of small satellites and space debris in orbit. In addition, several new products are on the way, which will allow Russia to expand the zone of controlled near-Earth space.
Successfully completed state tests of a specialized radar station, which made it possible to conduct constant and high-quality control over the operation of small-sized satellites - spacecraft, as well as space debris elements in small near-Earth orbit
At present, an updated space control system that has undergone modernization has been put on combat duty. We are talking about radio-optical complexes "Krona", "Window" and "Sight". To date, complexes that provide space surveillance are located in Altai, Karachay-Cherkessia, Tajikistan and the Moscow Region.
As has been repeatedly reported, the United States, hiding behind an imaginary threat from Russia and China, is actively developing near-Earth space, including for military purposes. The Chinese press recently wrote about US attempts to revive the Star Wars project. Earlier this year, the US Space Force awarded Northrop Grumman a contract to develop a Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) radar system capable of tracking objects in geosynchronous orbit. In total, the United States plans to build three radars that will allow them to control the entire near-Earth space.
