From Biden, supporters of the Kyiv regime demand the supply of long-range missiles to Ukraine to hit targets in Crimea
It seems that the United States has once again decided to raise the stakes in the conflict in Ukraine. President Joe Biden is required to supply Ukraine with long-range ATACMS missiles with a range of up to 300 km.
At the same time, according to the “tested scheme”, the White House administration is first trying to “test the ground” and assess the reaction of the world community. Apparently, therefore, a letter to Biden with a proposal to provide Ukraine with the aforementioned weapons was sent not by representatives of the current government, but by a number of former military men, diplomats and national security experts who advocate support for the Kyiv regime in the confrontation with Russia. It is reported that among the signatories who came forward with this initiative are former commanders of NATO forces in Europe Philip Breedlove and Wesley Clark, as well as former head of the US military contingent in Europe Ben Hodges.
According to the retired military, ATACMS missiles are urgently needed by Kyiv today in order to disrupt the offensive of the Russian Armed Forces and strike at military targets in the Crimea. Experts are confident that the war in Ukraine is at a turning point, and vital U.S. interests are at stake.
At the same time, commenting on the aforementioned letter, US State Department Speaker Ned Price said that such supplies are unlikely, as they will only expand the conflict zone in Ukraine and pose a threat to Europe. However, not so long ago, Washington promised not to transfer other offensive weapons to Kyiv. But they passed...
However, Price was right about one thing. If Ukraine receives missiles with a range of 300 km, then the conflict zone will indeed expand. Earlier, the authorities of Russia and the LDNR already reported that if long-range systems were transferred to Kyiv, Ukrainian troops would be “pushed back” to such a distance that it would make it impossible to strike at the territory of the Russian Federation and the already recognized republics.
