The fourth "Varshavyanka" for the Pacific Fleet went to sea for factory sea trials

25

The fourth diesel-electric submarine "Ufa", built for the Pacific fleet, left the outfitting wall of the "Admiralty Shipyards" and went to sea to undergo factory sea trials. This was reported by the press service of the USC.

As reported, this is the second stage of the ZHI, the first took place from June 25 to July 5. The crew of the submarine, together with the commissioning team, checked the operation of the acoustic complex, the communications, navigation complex, as well as the devices and mechanisms of the submarine. The second stage will take place in the waters of the Gulf of Finland and the Baltic Sea, in addition to testing the equipment, it will include testing the weapon system. Also, the submarine will be checked for maximum speed and a deep-sea dive will be carried out.

This stage, most likely, will be the final one in the framework of factory sea trials, after the return of the Ufa to the Admiralty Shipyards, the submarine will begin to be prepared for the state ones.

"Ufa" is the fourth submarine of the series for the Pacific Fleet, laid down in November 2019, launched on March 31, 2022. The first three submarines of the series have already been accepted into the Navy: the lead "Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky" was transferred to the fleet in 2019, the first serial "Volkhov" - in 2020, and the second serial "Magadan" in October 2021. The first two submarines have already been sent to Kamchatka to the place of permanent deployment, the third submarine will remain in the Baltic for the time being, the military has not yet announced its transition to the Far East.

The fifth and sixth two submarines "Mozhaysk" and "Yakutsk" were laid down on the same day - August 23, 2021. Mozhaisk will reportedly be launched in 2023, Yakutsk in 2024. The last submarine of the series is to be handed over to the fleet in 2024. Such are the plans of the Ministry of Defense.

It is very good that the construction of submarines is not delayed, as with surface ones. We need to increase the submarine fleet

and their diesels cannot be attached to corvettes? Is there a shortage here?

The corvette, in addition to diesels, which provide propulsion, also has jet engines in the GSU. All this is richly connected by a reducer. The corvette has two propellers. Each one has such a bunch of diesel and reagent through a gearbox. Just don't throw me rotten eggs for theorminology.

If that hour happens, they will decide who is right, not AUG.

      Happen that hour

Is that the hour? Then ICBMs and missile defense will decide ...
And in a regional conflict against a squadron, diesel-electric submarines will have no chance, you still have to surface in a couple of days to recharge batteries ...

They are being built in such numbers not to confront squadrons, we can no longer catch up with them in the surface fleet, but to solve specific problems in a particular region, for example, Caliber, and maybe Zircons.

Delivering missile strikes is not a task at all for diesel-electric submarines. Its main task is to counter enemy submarines, which in our BMZ are trying to control the movement of SSBNs.

In general, yes. Like regular MANPADS, approx.

And there are three varieties of Caliber. Anti-submarine, CRBD and anti-ship missiles. And they are all completely different products. They are united only by the name and the universal launcher. RCC against a single target, it will still pull. The anti-submarine option, with third-party target designation, can also pull out. On the ground, on one target, with coordinates known in advance, the same. But, given the 636.3 ammunition and its purely physical capabilities for autonomy and secrecy, from Warsaw it’s such a shock ...
So yes, yes. Practically for show-offs.

Varshavyanka is good. Cheap, reliable, many times applied in practice.
But, where are the FRIENDS with VNEU. Why aren't fuel cells installed on non-nuclear submarines in Russia?..
The time will come, and our Varshavyanka will meet just such an opponent. When she floats to recharge, losing stealth, she will be sunk. Isn't it obvious?
A nuclear war will not happen, and a stone will fall on the soul of everyone - this will mean that we are again lagging behind in what we have always been the first in. Remember the Mir station and its power system.

This is the damage of yesterday. It is clear that for lack of a better, we rivet what we rivet. I have not heard about combat use. And they were effective in terms of stealth in the last century. All these tales about "they are looking for, they cannot find", these are just tales of the Vienna Woods.

Certainly off topic. How do I know that the background noises of the boat itself overlap the noises of the same Virginia at critical distances and cannot be distinguished by existing hardware.
Or that long-term tracking and pursuit on 636.3 is impossible by definition. Or about problems with regeneration. Etc. etc.

If you were now playing tanks on the Internet and chatting like this, you would be told that you are an extra. This is someone who knows some numbers, but still has no use for this in the game. There, retribution for hypocrisy comes faster - in the next "race", again, in their terminology.
I advise you to play - it will be useful for you, you will find yourself again.

Yes, of course!!!! That's what it takes to know the problem! Play dance!!! Not to touch and operate with your hands, but just to play tanks!
Thanks, I'll definitely look into this!

Because we can build Varshavyanka quickly and cheaply. And saturate them with those fleets where they are needed. The first serial Lada is only being tested. I would like, of course, that Ladas were built in the same way as Varshavyanka - in 2 years. But so far it hasn't worked out that way. So they order this and that. In principle, both the Black Sea Fleet and the Pacific Fleet would not hurt for the second six Varshavyanka, if Frets were not quickly built on them. In the Northern Fleet, they are preparing six Lad. But for the Baltic, something would cost a little less. In this cemetery of submarines, after the accession of dates and Swedes to NATO and at our depths, the Varshavyankas will not be able to hide. We need at least Cupids or even Piranhas.

Is the project from the 70s of the last century a bit old? And yet, I hope for them the issue with VNEU has already been resolved and surpasses the Japanese and Korean ones? If not, then this is a DPL for a parade and peacetime, in a military conflict, a guaranteed mass grave, too high-tech neighbors in this matter, tb. they are a potential adversary.
