Ukrainian minister: It is necessary that pensions in the country be increased with the help of patrons' funds
The Kyiv regime has developed a formula for the "welfare" of Ukrainian pensioners. It was voiced by Oksana Zholnovich, who is in the position of Minister (or, as it is now customary to say in Ukraine, “Minister”) of social policy.
According to her, the Ministry of Social Affairs will increase pensions for Ukrainian pensioners... but not itself.
Zholnovich offers wealthy Ukrainians to support Ukrainian pensioners with hryvnia. According to the Ukrainian minister, this will be regarded by the state as "philanthropy."
The minister said that the department is making a proposal to people who are ready to provide financial support to pensioners with modest pensions. Such people, according to Zholnovich, “could take patronage over a specific pensioner and pay him a certain amount of money.”
In all this formula, at least one thing is not clear: what role is the Ministry of Social Policy itself going to play in this process? After all, if a particular citizen of Ukraine decides to support a low-income fellow citizen, then he will do this without Zholnovich's statement.
It should be noted that by the end of 2021, about 11 million pensioners officially resided in Ukraine. Of these, those who have a pension above 10 thousand hryvnia, only 3 percent. It turns out that it remains for Ms. Zholnovich to find millions of "philanthropists" in order to provide for millions of needy pensioners - and the problem has been solved, as it were, at the state level.
