The head of the Zhytomyr region confirms the launch of missile strikes on targets in the region. A Kyiv protege in this region claims at least two explosions, while not saying exactly where they thundered. According to a Ukrainian official, "the missiles were fired from Belarus."
Meanwhile, the mayor of Zhytomyr, Sergei Sukhomlin, urged the local population "not to ignore the air raid signals."
Earlier it was reported that on the territory of the Zhytomyr region, the unloading of the military personnel arrived from Poland was carried out. According to some reports, we are talking about several units of military equipment, which were planned to be sent first to one of the enterprises for maintenance, and then to the war zone, namely to the Kharkiv region or to the Donbass.
There is currently no official confirmation from Russian officials that the missile strikes were carried out precisely at the facility where military equipment from NATO countries was delivered.
Recall that today, during the night, strikes were carried out on military facilities in the Kharkiv region, near the city of Zaporozhye, as well as on the part of the territory of the DPR occupied by Kyiv troops. Military facilities and positions of Ukrainian militants in the Slovyansk region fell under a massive blow from Russian troops.
