Ex-Prime Minister of the Czech Republic: We can talk about the right moment to end hostilities in Ukraine
Former Czech Prime Minister Jiri Paroubek (in office in 2005-2006) spoke about the events in Ukraine. According to the Czech politician, "there is no reason to believe that Russia will send its troops to the central regions of Ukraine."
Paroubek:
The ex-prime minister of the Czech Republic recalled that in 2021 Russia repeatedly offered the West to hold substantive negotiations and pointed out the need to take into account its interests. According to Paroubek, the statements of NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg that any country has the right to decide for itself whether to join NATO or not turned out to be what prompted Moscow to start a military operation.
Paroubek:
The former head of the Czech government said that the West "misinterpreted the balance of its forces and the forces of Russia."
Paroubek:
The Czech politician notes that Russia is not Syria or Venezuela at all, so that, as the West considered, it could be brought to its knees by sanctions.
At the same time, the ex-head of the Czech Cabinet clearly does not understand (or pretends not to understand) the main thing: if at least part of the territory of Ukraine remains behind the Ukrainian regime supported by Washington, then the ceasefire will continue (as happened after the signing of the Minsk agreements) a couple of days at the most. Then provocations, shelling, terrorist attacks will begin again, staged by the Ukrainian regime at the suggestion of overseas and British sponsors of this regime.
