The battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in full force left the front lines and deserted to the rear
The units of the Ukrainian group holding the defense in the Donbass are suffering huge losses. The ongoing offensive of the allied forces, the almost round-the-clock work of artillery, aviation and missile forces defeat the Armed Forces of Ukraine, literally knocking out entire units.
The defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is now based on the remnants of personnel units, nationalists and fortifications prepared in advance, which are continuously hit by Russian artillery, gradually grinding positions. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are suffering heavy losses, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the 14th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is defending in the Soledar area, has already lost more than 2 thousand personnel. The command was forced to remove it from its positions and bring it to the rear for reorganization.
Numerous cases of desertion are noted, in particular, the 23rd battalion of the 56th motorized infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine left its positions in full force and departed for the rear. According to reports, they ran somewhere in the direction of Dnepropetrovsk, but they should have gone in the direction of Donetsk, folding weapon and raising your hands. The allied artillery is very actively scattering leaflets with the rules of surrender, otherwise they will be accused of desertion, and they will be sent back, only under the supervision of the national battalions.
Now to the causes that caused such losses and desertion, i.e. to strikes by artillery, aviation and missile systems. Over the past day, the Aerospace Forces launched a series of attacks on the places of deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Up to 100 (one hundred) militants from the 28th mechanized brigade were destroyed by a high-precision missile strike in the Novogrigorievka region of the Nikolaev region.
In the Maryinka area, as a result of concentrated strikes, 50% of the personnel of the 3rd battalion of the 66th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were knocked out, and in the Zaitsevo area, the stronghold of the 58th brigade was covered, the losses amounted to more than 40 people. During the day, artillery and aviation destroyed a fuel depot in the Kurakhovo area, six ammunition depots, in the Chasov Yar area, aviation covered an American-made AN / MPQ-64 counter-battery station.
As part of the counter-battery fight, four platoons of Grad multiple launch rocket systems were suppressed, Akatsiya self-propelled guns of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and D-30 howitzers were hit. Anti-aircraft gunners shot down five Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles and intercepted two HIMARS MLRS rockets.
