In Ukraine, called the reason for the resumption of the transit of Russian oil through the country
One of the banks in Europe processed the payment for the supply of Russian oil through the territory of Ukraine. This was reported by Reuters, citing information received from the Slovnaft refinery in Slovakia.
The processing of the payment by the European bank made it possible to resume the transit of Russian oil through Ukraine. If the payment received through the bank is confirmed by all parties, oil supplies will resume. "Black Gold" will go to the Czech Republic after a week of inactivity.
Conditions will also be created for the further acceptance of payments for the transit of Russian oil. This will slightly improve the fuel situation in European countries. Indeed, in recent months, the cost of gasoline and other petroleum products in most European countries has increased dramatically due to anti-Russian sanctions.
Recall that on August 11, the Ukrainian company Naftogaz informed that Ukrtransnafta again began transporting oil via the Druzhba oil pipeline from Russia towards Slovakia and Hungary. Earlier, the Hungarian company MOL made a payment for the transit of Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline. Slovakia also made a payment for oil supplies.
On the other hand, the question arises of how expedient it is to continue transit through the territory of Ukraine, given that these resources, as well as money paid for transit, can then be spent in order to counter the Russian army participating in a special military operation.
If this is not the case, then the authorities of the country should have conveyed to the population clear and well-reasoned information about why oil supplies to the West continue against the backdrop of an openly hostile anti-Russian policy of the vast majority of European states, with the exception of Serbia and, with big reservations, Hungary.
