Zakharova advised the head of the British Foreign Office to call the US ambassador instead of the representative of China

The head of British diplomacy, Liz Truss, addressed Chinese officials, demanding explanations about their actions. The Russian Foreign Ministry commented on London's attack on Beijing.

The comment was made by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, and posted on her Telegram channel.

Recently, the British Foreign Secretary appealed to Beijing, demanding that it urgently resolve the situation around Taiwan by peaceful means, and not by coercion. To do this, she summoned the Chinese ambassador to her to explain why the authorities of his country act in this way and not otherwise.

Zakharova advised the head of the British Foreign Office to call the US ambassador "on the carpet" instead of the representative of China, whom Truss urgently invited to her residence for an explanation.

The head of the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry believes that it would be more logical for London to demand an explanation not from Beijing, but from Washington. After all, a trip to Taiwan by Nancy Pelosi, who holds a high position in the United States, can only be regarded as a provocation.

It is worth noting that there is hardly anything for London that requires an explanation from Washington. After all, Britain always and in everything unconditionally supports the United States, without criticizing the actions of high-ranking American politicians.
