The Zyabrovsky airfield is located 25 kilometers from Gomel and is currently transferred to the full jurisdiction of the Russian Aerospace Forces. According to some reports, over the past ten days, the military airfield has received at least four flights of Il-76 transport aircraft, and the transfer of missiles for the S-300/400 air defense system is also reported.
The Rane Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus reported that on the territory of the Republic of Belarus in the period from August 9 to 25, 2022, operational-tactical exercises of the Air Force and Air Defense troops with live fire will be held.
