At the same time, those who remained in the trenches, dugouts and firing points in the private sector, the command said that they should "hold on to the end - until reinforcements arrive." The report confirms the fact that Russian troops are attacking in a number of directions at once. So, in the Kharkov direction, there are battles for Petrovka and Gusarovka. Attempts to break through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are being made near Bolshaya Kamyshevakhi in the Slavic direction. The Ukrainian army continues to retreat from Soledar, losing its positions, including at industrial facilities - under the onslaught of artillery and tank units.

According to the latest information, part of the enemy forces in Soledar are hiding in salt mines, where they have a certain supply of provisions, water and ammunition. The total length of salt mines in the area of ​​this city is estimated at tens of kilometers.
