In Ukraine, they threatened to kill the power lines leading to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are able to interrupt the power lines (power lines) that lead to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant in the city of Energodar. This was stated in an interview with Ukrainian journalists by the head of Energoatom of Ukraine Petr Kotin.

As the head of Energoatom noted, if Russia decides to disconnect the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant from the Ukrainian energy supply system, then Ukrainian troops may come into action. They will interrupt the power lines of the nuclear power plant, which Russia will try to connect.

According to Kotin, Ukrainian troops will be ready to perform such a task if necessary. Earlier, the head of Energoatom reported that the Russian Federation was going to connect the Zaporozhye NPP to the Russian energy system. For supplying Ukraine with electricity, such a decision would be a very big blow: the Zaporozhye NPP provides up to a quarter of all electricity in the country.

Meanwhile, the G7 called for the Zaporizhzhya NPP to be transferred to Ukraine's control. However, what kind of control can we talk about if Ukrainian formations shell the nuclear power plant almost daily. Thus, they create huge risks of a nuclear catastrophe, in which case a huge region from Romania and Bulgaria to the border regions of the Russian Federation will be exposed to radiation. In addition, the waters of the Azov and Black Seas, up to the coast of Turkey, will be exposed to radiation contamination.

For some reason, such a consequence of the actions of the Ukrainian side in the GXNUMX, the European Union and NATO prefer to remain silent, although such a prospect of the consequences of attacks on the nuclear power plant in Energodar is very obvious. We also note that Russia, unlike Ukraine, does not engage in nuclear and energy terrorism and does not strike at nuclear power plants.

Also oil and gas. How about putting the Ukrainian Energoatom on the list of terrorist organizations?

To warn that if the Kyiv troops start a war with power lines, Russia will respond in a mirror way.
And, unlike Russia, all of Ukraine is in the missile strike zone.
Until now, this has not been done only because we are officially at war not with Ukraine, but with the Nazis. And only military targets were hit. When the electricity goes out, it will be a humanitarian catastrophe.
There are rumors that Kyiv is preparing an "army of retaliation" in the rear, sending most of the equipment and specialists coming from abroad, preparing a powerful blow. If this is true, and there will be such a blow, then it will also be necessary to immediately cut down power lines and blow up fuel storage facilities. Without fuel the tanks won't move, without electricity it's hard to keep the government going.

the operation of a nuclear power plant is dependent on consumers.

You can't just turn off Ukrainian consumers like this by "braking" the nuclear power plant.
For the same reason, the capacity of SP-1 cannot be reduced to zero.

An underground cable would be more reliable.
I think the time factor is of paramount importance. So in the old fashioned way, high-voltage power lines.

Well, we are not at war, but we are conducting NWO, where the main goals are demilitarization and denazification, but there is no de-electrification there ... Wonderful NWO, very wonderful. It’s interesting, who pays for this electricity and how, who pays for the work of nuclear power plant personnel ...

The energy atom of Ukraine can do it itself by giving the command to shut down the reactors. But he doesn’t give it. Kiev is once again in the ass. But this time, the whole of Europe is at stake. And we have nothing to do with it. Ours is still skillfully playing this card. I don’t think that just like that, the Anglo-Saxon UN Secretariat is blocking the Magate’s trip.

        muffled, fuel removed

even if you stop the reactor, you don’t unload the fuel right away - it is heated so that the station switches from the generation mode to the consumption mode and where to power it from then, emergency power is not for long ... and the fuel from the reactor first settles at the nuclear power plant and only then it is taken out ... there are some technological tricks here ... but the fuel is unloaded anyway, which is from Westinghouse

Ukraine regularly shells nuclear power plants? No problem - let's offer to give it back to Ukraine. From the layman's side, this looks like an absolutely illogical decision, but from the side of Western politicians, this is the height of common sense.
It seems that now any game can be pushed through in the west, if it falls under causing damage to Russia ...
Why don't they ask simple questions: what is the military expediency of such UAF attacks?
