FREEBODY or NOT FREEBODY - that is the question!
This is exactly what Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with young entrepreneurs in June this year. The head of state also listed four components of sovereignty - military-political, economic, technological and social - and noted that they are all closely interconnected.
And now let's answer the question: is Russia a sovereign country or not? "Of course, sovereign!" - many will immediately exclaim. Indeed, Russia conducts an independent international policy. Started NWO without fear of international sanctions. So there are no issues with the political and military component.
But as far as the economy is concerned, everything is not so clear. First, let's look at the capital flight from Russia. And we recognize that economically sovereign countries do not export money, but, on the contrary, attract it to their economy.
Capital is leaving Russia again
At the next meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia, the following was announced: news: Nabiullina's department predicts that by the end of this year, the outflow of capital from the country will amount to 246 billion dollars. The previous estimate was $151 billion.
In just a couple of months, the regulator decided that an additional $95 billion would be taken out of the country (We don't believe in dollars anymore). It's normal! At the same time, the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance are thinking hard about how to weaken the ruble as soon as possible, and are developing a new version of the budget rule.
Let me remind you that the previous version of this rule was aimed at ensuring that part of the money received for exporting oil was not invested in the economy, but was added to a piggy bank that was successfully invested in foreign assets, for example, in American debt securities. As a result of the sanctions, all these assets were blocked. And Russia has lost more than $300 billion.
It seems that the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance decided to dance on a rake. And not only did they learn nothing from their previous mistakes, but they make new ones. A quarter of a trillion dollars withdrawn from Russia is an unprecedented figure. There has never been such an outflow of capital from the country, even during the Yeltsin era.
But, as we see, the Central Bank is not ashamed to publish this figure. And he doesn't explain it. What for? People, in his opinion, shove? And neither the Central Bank, nor the Ministry of Finance, nor the Cabinet of Ministers are going to fight the outflow. But it was the Ministry of Finance that lifted the currency restrictions imposed at the beginning of the NWO.
From June 6, in general, companies exporting goods from Russia, including resources, have the right to leave foreign exchange earnings on their accounts in foreign banks and return only half of the earnings to Russia after 1120 days. It turns out that out of 80 dollars per barrel of oil, only 40 dollars will come to Russia. And only taxes, salaries, and production costs will be paid from this part. In short, the budget rule still works, even in the old version, and foreign bankers rub their hands merrily. Foreign countries receive both oil and money.
Cleverly thought out! This is how a sovereign economy turns out. From the sale of our resources, our country gets "horns and legs." Is it possible to rob a sovereign state in every sense?
By the way, the sale of oil abroad is also not so simple. Let me just remind you that during the years of perestroika, the leading economists of the USSR demanded a ban on pumping oil out of the Russian subsoil and driving it in an endless stream to the West.
Oil revenues slowed down the USSR
Already 30 years ago it was clear that the non-stop sending of resources abroad leads to the rejection of import substitution, and even more so of import advance. It was popularly explained that the mistake of the USSR was that the Soviet leadership did not use oil and gas revenues for large-scale technological modernization. Why think about how to develop something in your country, if you can buy everything with the money you receive.
Indeed, the growth in foreign exchange earnings was enormous. If in 1970 the revenue of the USSR was 1,05 billion dollars, then by 1980 it had increased to 15,74 billion dollars. An increase of almost 15 times! It's so simple: you could buy everything you need and not bother.
And after all, let's be honest, it was precisely this approach that ultimately led to the backlog of the USSR from the advanced countries of the West. And the deficit of everything and everything, in turn, led to the collapse of the Union. Of course, the reasons were deeper and more diverse, but the “oil needle” factor should not be ignored.
Are we repeating these mistakes? We do not solve the problem of structural restructuring of the Russian economy, but stupidly drive resources to those countries that buy. Yes, and with a discount, as, for example, in India. According to Reuters, oil supplies from Russia to India increased 31 times compared to last year, coal - six times. According to sources of the publication, Indian traders receive discounts of up to 30%. And what does the Russian economy get? As you can see, nothing.
Why should we sell so much oil at once, if tomorrow its price will rise? It is more expedient to sell it just enough to pay the debts and the necessary imports of consumer goods and means of production. Oil in the bowels is a highly liquid resource, "black gold", the price of which is growing rapidly, while the revenue accumulated in the "piggy bank" depreciates and can be blocked again at any time.
The most reliable Stabilization Fund of the Russian Federation is the explored, but not pumped out oil in new fields. It should also be taken into account that Russia has a moderately excess oil production capacity - only 3 tons per person per year. And surplus oil countries like Saudi Arabia or Kuwait produce 40 tons per person per year. Agree, the government should not overestimate the country's hydrocarbon wealth. The oil of Siberia, the ore and gas of the Far North alone will not provide economic development for the regions and the country.
This is how it turns out that the economic interests of Russian oil and gas companies are still contrary to the interests of the state. And the economic bloc is trying to deepen these contradictions.
Dancing on the rake
In early August, it became known that Belgium had frozen the funds of Russian individuals and legal entities in the amount of 50,5 billion euros. All types of financial assets were frozen. In particular, cash and shares belonging to 1 individuals and 229 organizations were blocked. The publication notes that the representative of the Belgian Ministry of Finance did not specify whose assets were frozen with the highest value.
At the beginning of April, the EU countries froze a total of 35 billion euros in Russian assets. And here is the latest news from August 3: the Swiss authorities, as part of the seventh package of sanctions against Russia, froze the assets of Sberbank. I wonder why these individuals and organizations, and, of course, why Sberbank, five months after the introduction of the first sanctions, did not withdraw these assets from unfriendly Europe to Russia? They hoped that they were "white and fluffy" and would not be touched? Is this betrayal or stupidity?
Donbass will be taught Ukrainian language?
Recently, the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov announced that programs for learning Ukrainian as a native language will be available in the schools of the DPR and LPR. And Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Denis Gribov added that the Ministry of Education is preparing educational programs so that they can be taught according to Russian standards, but in Ukrainian.
Very interesting news. After all, it was Ukrainization and the ban on the Russian language that led to the fact that in 2014 the inhabitants of Donbass did not support the Kyiv Maidan, declared independence and began to fight for it. I can’t even imagine who in the DPR and LPR does not know Russian.
I repeatedly met with residents of both Luhansk and Donetsk. They spoke excellent Russian. And the pronunciation was practically Moscow, without the characteristic South Russian dialect. For whom, then, is the Ministry of Education preparing education in the Ukrainian language? What does Mr. Kravtsov and his comrades want to prove by this and to whom? Such a very timely and sovereign decision!
So the SVO is being conducted not only for the purpose of denazification, demilitarization of Ukraine and the liberation of primordially Russian territories transferred to neighbors during the time of a single country, but also for the true sovereignty of our state.
