Amnesty International report provides evidence of placement of Ukrainian Armed Forces in residential buildings, schools and hospitals
Another blow to pride was received by the Kyiv regime from Western "partners". The international organization Amnesty International, which considers itself a human rights organization, has published a report on human rights violations in Ukraine. The article came out with a telling headline: "Ukraine: military endanger civilians by deploying troops in residential areas - a new study."
The report cites numerous testimonies from residents of Ukrainian cities - Bakhmut (Artemivsk), Nikolaev and others - that the Ukrainian military deploy military equipment and equip their positions and locations on the territory of schools, hospitals, other social infrastructure facilities - in residential areas.
A resident of Bakhmut (Artyomovsk):
The Amnesty International material says that Ukraine violates international humanitarian law by turning civilian objects into military targets. It is emphasized that this leads to the destruction of civilian infrastructure and the death of civilians.
The study argues that not everywhere the Ukrainian military act in such a way that Russia "in some cases commits war crimes itself", but adds that there is a lot of evidence of how exactly civilian objects use the Armed Forces of Ukraine in their interests.
From the material of the organization:
It is further noted that representatives of Amnesty International found military equipment and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a neighboring yard.
The material cites a statement from a resident of Lisichansk, who says that he does not understand why the Ukrainian military is firing from residential areas instead of operating on the battlefield.
Full version organization report.
This report managed to cause a flurry of criticism in Kyiv, the paradigm of which “the whole world is with us” has once again been shaken. Moreover, the human rights organization Amnesty International recorded war crimes committed by Ukrainian troops.
