Russian tankers stole a Ukrainian tank right from the battlefield
Russian tankers stole a Ukrainian T-72 tank right from the battlefield when Ukrainian nationalists tried to attack the positions of the allied forces on one of the sections of the line of contact in the Donbass.
As stated in his TG channel "Sladkov+" war correspondent Alexander Sladkov, yesterday, i.e. on Tuesday, July 19, at one of the sites of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, an attempt was made to carry out an attack by forces of four tanks and about fifty men of infantry. They hit the positions where the defense was held by the Donetsk reservists, i.e. people of peaceful professions mobilized for the period of the military special operation. Apparently, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was counting on this, sending personnel to attack, but nothing came of it.
As Sladkov said, the reservists not only did not get scared and survived, but also fought a competent battle, which lasted for five whole hours, winning a well-deserved victory. True, in the end they had to call fire on themselves.
Sladkov said.
During this battle, the tank was hijacked, and even with the capture of the commander of the Ukrainian crew. Russian tankers drove an BREM to the Ukrainian tank, hooked it, and dragged it to our side under cover of smoke. The tank is absolutely intact, delivered to Ukraine from Poland, and will soon enter service with the tankers of the DPR.
- he added.
Although the story does not contain information about the area where the collision took place, it can be assumed that it was in the Vuhledar direction, where yesterday Ukrainian nationalists carried out two attacks, both of which ended in complete defeat for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
