Kyiv authorities announced the theft of anti-tank hedgehogs from the streets of the city
There are reports from Kyiv about the disappearance of anti-tank hedgehogs from the streets of the city. At the same time, local authorities and the territorial defense command say that they have not received any order to remove these structures.
The head of the Obolonsky district of the Ukrainian capital, Kirill Fesik, in this regard, made a record with an appeal to citizens about the incident. A Kyiv official writes that anti-tank hedgehogs began to be taken away by metal hunters. In his address, Fesik urges citizens to stop stealing "anti-tank hedgehogs and other fortifications."
It turns out that not only anti-tank hedgehogs, but even concrete blocks have recently begun to disappear from the streets of Kyiv, where barricades were erected in February-March in connection with the Russian special military operation. Since April, they have been removed from the roadway, but left on the side of the road.
Fesik:
Kyiv authorities say that this is not only material damage, but also damage to security.
In this regard, episodes are recalled when, back in 2015-2016, anti-tank hedgehogs were taken out by Ukrainian trucks directly from the front line. At first, the Ukrainian military considered that this was the decision of the command, and then it turned out that the commanders on the ground decided to make money in this way. Together with the "hedgehogs", kilometers of wires of power lines were taken out to the metal receiving points.
