All the deceased officers, from captain to lieutenant colonel, were more than once sent to the North Caucasus, served in special forces for many years.
We are talking to the residents of the town who served with Alexander Shushakov on the phone on the way to Barnaul: they are going to say goodbye to the Altai policemen. According to the commander and colleague of Alexander, Yevgeny Semenov from the 3-th police station, two more residents of the Dagestan tragedy were injured. At the time of delivery of the number of their names were not disclosed, however, as it became known, their condition will allow to take part in a farewell with colleagues. The press service of the State Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Altai Territory promised that information on police officers would be available in the near future.
In the meantime, the circumstances of the tragedy find out relatives and friends of police. It is already known that Alexander Shushakov, who was so fond of sports at the time of the attack, was in the gym. Hearing the shooting in the barracks, he ran out and was under fire.

He went to Dagestan as a police major, a senior security officer for particularly important matters of the SOBR combat department.

- We know each other for 20 years. We met at the gym in 1992, just before he left for the army. He never thought about leaving, changing jobs.
