Ukrainian journalists: People's Deputy from the party "Servant of the People" Maryana Bezuglaya commands the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Severodonetsk
Ukrainian journalist Yuriy Butusov was the first to cover this topic, who wrote a post yesterday in which he promised to publish the details of “an adventure of the leaders of law enforcement agencies who were influenced by politicians and began to misuse Ukrainian combat-ready special forces to carry out one adventure in a tactically unfavorable situation.”
This afternoon, journalist Yanina Sokolova published a photograph on her social media accounts, where, according to her, the people's deputy from the Servant of the People party, Maryana Bezuglaya, in military uniform, sets tasks for servicemen on the front line near Severodonetsk as a “man from above”.
Later, Butusov confirmed the information of his colleague and added that the deputy was involved in setting combat missions for the commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The journalist wrote that this is a blatant manifestation of incompetence, which endangers the lives of Ukrainian servicemen. Butusov urged politicians "not to play with the lives of soldiers."
Member of the Servant of the People faction, deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada committee on national security issues, Maryana Bezuglaya became famous for a scandalous bill that was supposed to allow officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to shoot soldiers on the spot for insubordination or attempted desertion. In response to her initiative, Yury Butusov proposed last week to adopt another bill that introduces the right to shoot Ukrainian officials who "failed to prepare Ukraine for war." The journalist also called on the military leadership to give a command to the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to retreat from Lisichansk and Severodonetsk, where the boiler may slam in the near future as a result of the successful actions of the RF Armed Forces and the NM of the LPR.
After that, Maryana Bezuglaya demanded that the SBU deal with the journalist. In turn, Butusov said that the Ukrainian security forces forbade him to visit army units on the front line. The journalist called this decision "a declaration of war by some people in the OP." Now, apparently, the journalist, who has become objectionable to the Ukrainian authorities, has decided to strike back, as they say. Butusov believes that the intervention of various kinds of "commissars" and "commissioners" in the management of combat units is unacceptable.
The confusion and vacillations of the Kyiv authorities in managing their own army have been noted for a long time. Ukrainian media write that President Zelensky has ceased to cope with the role of commander in chief, and decisions in Kyiv are made at the clan level. One can only guess what kind of "commands" on the front line the odious politician gives to military personnel whose morale has already reached the bottom. And how these orders are perceived by the soldiers, whom the “servant of the people” called on the day before to be shot without trial or investigation.
