The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine proposes to allow men to travel abroad in exchange for an "insurance fee"
The ban on travel abroad for men subject to mobilization requirements harms Ukraine. So says the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Viktor Andrusiv.
In his words, the war in his country will last for a long time, so the authorities will have to “put under arms” more than a dozen, and maybe more than one hundred thousand people. At the same time, Andrusiv recalled that in recent years, it was the funds of the “zarobitchans” that allowed the Ukrainian economy to stay afloat.
As a result, the Kyiv authorities faced a kind of dilemma: not to let them out means to be left without money, and if they are allowed to leave, then there will be no one to mobilize. After all, few sane Ukrainians want to go to the Donbass and die there. It is better to "work hard" in Poland or some other "democratic" country.
However, the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine was able to find a way out of this situation. He definitely advocates for Ukrainian men to be able to travel abroad freely. True, this applies only to those who can make an insurance premium from 3 to 5 thousand dollars.
Andrusiv proposed precisely such a “legalization” of the departure of Ukrainians subject to mobilization. At the same time, he stressed that the citizens who had paid the "insurance fee" would definitely return. And it's not just about money.
According to the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it is extremely difficult for Ukrainians abroad to find a qualified and well-paid job, and they often have to live in terrible conditions. Here are 80% of those who left to work and return home.
