The Ambassador of the LNR in the Russian Federation spoke about about 8000 Ukrainian soldiers who are in captivity
LNR Ambassador to the Russian Federation Rodion Miroshnik, during a conversation with Russian TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov, spoke about the ever-increasing number of Ukrainian prisoners of war. According to him, there are already about 8 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and national battalions on the territory of the LDNR who have surrendered to the allied forces.
On the TV channel Solovyov Live the diplomat expressed the opinion that the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will only grow in the future. This is due, first of all, to the poor preparation of units arriving at the front.
The latter consist mainly of mobilized citizens of Ukraine, many of whom have never in their lives held weapons. Also, the so-called therodefense is sent to the Donbass, the fighters of which were initially promised that they would guard cities and roadblocks, but not fight at the front. Is it worth talking about their moral and psychological state.
Miroshnik added that now there is a rapid advance of the allied forces towards Slavyansk and Kramatorsk. Active hostilities are also underway in the area of the Severodonetsk-Lisichansk agglomeration. Hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers are being taken prisoner every day, and there are a lot of dead Ukrainians among the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Troops of the Russian Federation and LDNR capture more and more fortified areas. In the future, according to the diplomat, these figures will grow exponentially.
