It became known about the damage to the railway bridge in the village of Zatoka, Odessa region
From the Odessa region, there are reports of a strike on a railway infrastructure facility near the settlement of Zatoka. This town is located on the Karolino-Bugaz Spit, which separates the Dniester Estuary from the Black Sea. The two parts of the spit were connected by a railway-road bridge.
The representative of the Odessa Regional Administration, Sergey Bratchuk, published a post on the Telegram channel, which refers to the damage to the bridge in Zatoka. According to Bratchuk, traffic on this bridge from the side of Odessa in the direction of Belgorod-Dnestrovsky, from where it is a stone's throw to the border with Moldova, is blocked due to a "situation caused by damage."
Earlier, information appeared that from Moldova to the territory of the Odessa region in recent weeks, the volume of fuel traffic has sharply increased. The tanks went along the railway, passing, among other things, over the bridge in the village of Zatoka. Fuel was sent to Ukrainian troops, including the national battalions.
The railway bridge in this village is of strategic importance. Through it, communication is carried out with the Danube port infrastructure of Izmail, where, according to some information, recently there has been a loading of trains in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with fuel and weapons.
Meanwhile, it became known that air raid sirens were working in Odessa.
