Ukhtysh and Uzola - tracked "Bobby" and "Tablet"

For any military, the names "Bobby" and "Tablet" are immediately associated with military equipment, which actually carries these nicknames, as well as their civilian variants. Be that as it may, these names evoke a different degree of nostalgia - one is positive, one is negative.

Machines presented by a company from Nizhny Novgorod, producing all-terrain vehicles, received a "second life", now they are called "Ukhtysh" and "Uzola" - tracked especially lightweight all-terrain vehicles. By the way, the caterpillars of cars are of asphalt-like type, on which you can drive on asphalt roads without any problems. ATVs are certified as tractor machinery. Lightweight all-terrain vehicle "ZVM-2410" is designed to move people or a small load on any surfaces that are weakly carrying, water and ice.

“Ukhtysh” or ZVM-2410 has a significant advantage over the rest of tracked and wheeled all-terrain vehicles - it has the lowest specific pressure coefficient created by the machine on the ground 12.5 kPa. These characteristics can only boast that all-terrain vehicles on pneumatics.

And now the most important thing that interests in the first place is how much such a decision will cost, and what will be the fuel consumption. So, the cost of one unit in the basic configuration costs a little over one million rubles, you see, not such an exorbitant amount for a lightweight all-terrain vehicle. Consumption, depending on the drive, is 25-30 liters per 100 km. The all-terrain vehicle comes in a version with a gasoline or diesel engine. Naturally, the diesel "ZVM-2410" consumption will be slightly less. The speed, as for tracked vehicles, is very decent and amounts to 60 km / h for off-road. The main highlight of the all-terrain vehicle Ukhtyzh is the ability to overcome water obstacles! The movement is carried out by turning the tracks at speeds up to 5 km / h. Use of the hinged boat motor for increase in speed is possible.

Construction and equipment
The interior of the car is made in the classic version - the chairs and the panel are familiar in the salons of domestic UAZ cars.
The aggregates and equipment of the all-terrain vehicle are taken from different cars of the domestic auto industry:
- power and some transmission units from the "UAZ";
- pneumatic compressor from "PAZ";
- pneumatic cranes from the tractor.

ATVs are based on a water-insulated boat on which the upper part is installed, for Ukhtysh - this is the top of the "UAZ-469", for "Usola" - the top of the "UAZ-452". The lower part (boat) is leaky, before overcoming water obstacles it is necessary to turn on the pumps and lower the plate installed in front of the radiator.

Ukhtysh was the first vehicle created in the enterprise. Numerous domestic organizations and companies immediately showed interest in it. Lightweight ATVs are now working for power engineers, gas workers, geologists, and oil workers.

The number of seats and seats depends on customer requirements - from two to eight seats (Uzola). The presence of a roomy body does not greatly affect the overall weight of all-terrain vehicles. The standard capacity of Ukhtysh is up to 5 people (with driver), the payload is 50 kilograms. You can fold the rear seats to increase the capacity of the payload. For "Ukhtysh" curb weight is 2.7 tons, for "Usola" - 2.8 tons (weight differs depending on the version). Additional equipment for all-terrain vehicles - trunk, winch, power bumpers, autonomous heater. As the creators assure, it is possible to install almost any additional or specific equipment.

Tracked truck - for all-terrain vehicle the most expensive. The basis of the track is a metal plate with a tooth in a rubber-clad shell. Inside the truck are two RMSHs. The connection between the tracks is carried out by means of bobbins (special iron plates), put on the projections of the RMSH. Bobbins are further connected with expanders. At this time, the last modification of the tracks is used, in which expanders are reinforced (earlier there were frequent breaking off while driving on sharp stones). The warranty period is 8 thousand kilometers. If we compare prices for a tracked truck, they are much cheaper than their foreign counterparts - 130 000 rubles (for the Swedish BV-206 - 160 000 rubles). Install the caterpillar on the all-terrain vehicle under the power of two in just half an hour. As practice has shown, the all-terrain vehicle turned out to be truly domestic - you can dress the caterpillar with improvised means, for example, with wooden bars. When using an all-terrain vehicle in winter, the installation of a “snow-cleaner” is required - an iron finger installed in the drive sprocket.

Propulsion systems on all-terrain vehicles can be installed quite diverse. At this time, set in the basic configurations petrol ZMZ-409-10 or diesel ZMZ-514 (main). There are cases of installation "under the order" of foreign engines such as the Nissanovsky turbodiesel RD28.

The box remained on a four-stage UAZ with a UAZ 2-x speed transfer box. From GAZ-71 got the main transfer case. Multi-disc dry friction friction with pneumatic control. Suspension lever-independent torsion. Front and rear balancers are provided with shock absorbers. Chassis - six dual support rubberized rollers with three supporting rollers on each side.

Movement on a lightweight all-terrain vehicle is quite comfortable and independent of the terrain of the cross-country terrain. The stroke of the machine is soft without the sensation of shaking. A legacy of UAZ gets only the lack of sound insulation. In winter, the cabin is warm enough, in summer you can open a large sunroof on the car. Driving a car has its own characteristics - the absence of a brake pedal and the presence of two levers instead of the steering wheel. The principle of operation is simple and has long been used in the control of tracked vehicles:
- levers on themselves - braking, tape brakes are included;
- left / right lever towards itself - turn left / right, the friction of the lever engaged is turned off, and the machine continues to move on one (opposite) friction and, accordingly, begins to turn. Unusual for the driver of the car becomes the lack of inertia and quick gear changes. However, getting used to this kind of driving happens pretty quickly, because in fact the control of the car is as simple as possible.

Main characteristics of ZVM-2410 Ukhtysh:
- curb weight / full - 2.7 / 3.2 tons;
- ground / water speed - 60 / 5 km / h;
- The capacity of fuel tanks - 130 liters;
- ground clearance - 40 centimeters;
- base - 2.5 meter;
- height - 2 meters;
- width - 2 meters;
- Length - 4.2 meters;
- power of petrol / diesel engines - HP 150 / 110;
- track width / pitch - 40 / 11.5 centimeters.
