Flight tactical exercises of army aviation ZVO

6

Army pilots worked out the fight against sabotage groups of a conditional enemy aviation in the Leningrad region. The Mi-24 and Mi-8 crews acted both singly and in groups - up to 10 pairs of helicopters at a time. In addition to firing rockets, pilots trained to mine certain areas of the terrain directly from the air. During the maneuvers that, according to legend, took place in the conditions of a border conflict, it was necessary to destroy several hundred targets at a distance of 500 m to 5 km from different heights.

In total, more than five hundred guided and unguided missiles were fired during the exercise at Kingisepp. The final phase of the maneuvers was the landing of servicemen from Mi-8 helicopters.

8. Helicopters entered the target in groups. I counted about 30 machines. Within minutes, the target field was plowed and sown with mines.

Good cars, it’s a pity there is no KA 52.

When you look at a photograph where twenty helicopters are in a row, such a thrill in the soul.
It seems to me that forever you can watch how the fire burns, how the other person works on this photo.

    viruskvartirus,
so I didn’t notice the most modern combat helicopters, and a logical question arises. What the hell? Is our army rearming or will it still fly in Soviet helicopters?
