In the West, Su-34 front-line bombers were "discovered" at the Voronezh airfield "Baltimore"

103

The West continues to assert about the concentration of the 100-strong Russian group near the Ukrainian border. Another "evidence" of this was found on satellite images posted on Twitter.

The Russian Defense Ministry has deployed Su-34 front-line bombers to the Baltimore air base in Voronezh, according to Western experts who have studied satellite images. The air base is located just 180 km from the Ukrainian border, which allows Russian aircraft to strike not only at targets in the border zone, but also in the depths of Ukrainian territory. According to the pictures, there are currently between 22 and 24 strike aircraft at the base, which only confirms Moscow's aggressive plans.

It should be noted that Western information about the deployment of the Su-34 on the Baltimore was at least two months late, the front-line bombers returned to Voronezh in November last year, and by mid-December the entire 47th bomber aviation the regiment of the Leningrad Air Force and Air Defense Army of the Western Military District was relocated to Voronezh from Buturlinovka, where the bombers were deployed in 2013. In addition, not all aircraft were counted by Western analysts; in addition to the aircraft of the 47th air regiment, two training squadrons of the Zhukovsky and Gagarin Air Force Academy (VVA) should be based there.

The airfield "Baltimore" was reconstructed, during the work it received a new runway with a length of almost 4 meters and a width of 60 meters, capable of receiving all types of aircraft. Work on the construction of a new airfield infrastructure was carried out on an area of more than 220 thousand square meters. meters, but they are not finished yet, this year it is planned to build covered hangars for servicing aircraft.

As previously stated in the Ministry of Defense, the new runway "Baltimore" will allow the operation of the Su-34 with a full combat load, and front-line bombers will be able to control the south and west of Russia, including the Crimea, the Caucasus and the Black Sea.

      hi
      The reasons are clear.
First, anger for the failures in its policy towards Russia over the past decade.
Secondly, and most importantly, is the clear and irreversible realization that Russia will go its own way, because it decided so.

Western information about the deployment of the Su-34 on the Baltimore was at least two months late
Probably an American spy satellite got into a traffic jam (a lot of space debris). But today, for the Western media, this information is most welcome, because Psaki announced the date of the "invasion" of Russia. The truth is somehow vague and indefinitely turned out - mid-January - mid-February.
    Another proof...
And since when is Russia obliged to ask permission from the United States, and even more so from the EU, to move its troops and military equipment on its own territory? It's probably high time for Americans to take off Napoleon's bicorne and see a doctor.

Although no, I read our name, earlier there was Voronezh-B. Well, okay with the name.
The Russian Defense Ministry has deployed Su-34 front-line bombers to the Baltimore air base in Voronezh, according to Western experts who have studied satellite images.

So no one hid it. Initially based
47th bomber (previously mixed) aviation regiment (military unit 45117) of the 105th mixed aviation division of the 6th Air Force and Air Defense Army of the Western Military District (Su-34 aircraft). This regiment became the first line regiment of the Russian Air Force (VKS) re-equipped with Su-34 front-line bombers, having received 2011 aircraft of this type in 2013-24.

no, that's what it's always been called. The Baltimore military airfield, or Voronezh-B, is a regular base airfield for the 47th bomber (formerly mixed) aviation regiment of the 105th mixed aviation division of the 6th Leningrad Red Banner Army of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Western Military District. The airfield has been under reconstruction since 2013, and the 47th Aviation Regiment was temporarily based at the Buturlinovka airfield.

In the Western classification there is no concept of a long-range bomber (this is a purely Soviet concept) - they have all of them strategic. They also call our Tu-22M3 strategic.
A front-line bomber "in their language" is a tactical strike aircraft (tactical bomber). A prime example is the General Dynamics F-111

In general, the classification depends on time. During the Second World War there were also neighbors. both medium and long-range bombers (respectively, in terms of penetration into the depth of enemy positions), dive bombers (capable of dive bombing), night bombers (operating mainly at night), etc. Then intercontinental, which are now strategic, appeared. And each country has its own classification. And with the development of jet aviation and aviation that has deftly stepped forward, its own classification. Front-line - for delivering strikes in the operational rear of the enemy, usually in the near operational zone, strategists - for hitting strategic important targets (nuclear power plants, important command posts, etc., as a rule, they carry nuclear weapons). Although "tactics" can also do it. Now there is a certain blurring of the classification, because the plane can do both "this" and "that"

Surprisingly, the F-111 is probably the only bomber to carry the letter "F" like the "Fighter" fighter.

Excuse me, but are there non-front-line bombers?

According to our classification, front-line soldiers work along the front line and the near rear, strategists work along the enemy’s deep rear.

Western experts do not watch Russian media and are in a deep coma at times?
The fact that Western "experts" present their conjectures as noteworthy news has not surprised me for a long time belay Politicians surprise them: either the Estonian Minister of Defense will “discover” the Pskov division; then someone else is surprised ... But with intelligence, they generally talk or immediately make sounds by the brain ...

lol, su-34s have actually been in Baltimore since the start of operation

For the period of reconstruction of the runway, they were removed from Baltimore.
For in fact, the runway was absent.
It was filled in only in the 20th year.
And this year they added taxiing.

you don’t have to be some kind of expert to understand that the intelligence of the United States and NATO in 2014, before and during the Maidan in Ukraine, observed Crimea and the South of Russia with particular attention and strictness. And from space and on earth and on water and from under water. And still, Russia and Putin won the victory in the Crimea for the Americans in a completely incomprehensible way. I am sure that even now America will not understand how Russia and Putin will achieve victory. Not a single Russian tank will enter the territory of Ukraine, planes will not fly in, and Russia will achieve victory. No, I’m not an expert and not a clairvoyant, but maybe the Americans need to be told that Caliber, Daggers, Zircons and Iskanders will fly right into the windows of the headquarters, cellars of bunkers, doors of warehouses, dugouts of a trench ... All the victories of Russia and Putin are still not templates, exclusive and permanent...

In the West, Su-34 front-line bombers were "discovered" at the Voronezh airfield "Baltimore"

They do, however. A little more and NATO will demand to withdraw all aircraft and military formations beyond the Urals or completely eliminate them.

It should be noted that Western information about the deployment of the Su-34 on the Baltimore was at least two months late, the front-line bombers returned to Voronezh in November last year, and by mid-December the entire 47th bomber aviation regiment of the Leningrad Air Force and Air Defense Army Western Military District relocated to Voronezh

When necessary, then they "fed" the information to the media. Then? After statements about the entry into NATO of Sweden and Finland. For what? Unload the "tank-dangerous" direction. Late. Su-34 is now like the blue dream of the Poles - from sea to sea.

It can be seen that Western analysts receive our military information only through Twitter, and not through messages from our Ministry of Defense. But what they are right about is that the regiment was relocated to an airfield that had not yet been fully reconstructed. This year, it is planned to equip group parking lots with covered metal-frame canopies so that aircraft can be serviced in all weather conditions.

I think this information is not for us, but for the Western layman! The local taxpayer must be prepared to bear the costs. This is how democracies fight. First you need to expose the enemy, to prove for a long time that he is guilty! Get into the US elections! Occupied Georgia and Crimea! Helps tyrants like Assad, keeps terrorists in Donbas and Luhansk! And now he is hatching treacherous plans to seize the whole of Ukraine! It does not matter that this information is false, the main thing is that everything is ready for war!
I'm afraid bloodshed is inevitable! Powell's tube found! I hope Shoigu is ready to the fullest! As soon as everything starts, there will be a lot of fakes proving that we attacked Ukraine! The Georgian-Ossetian scenario of 2008 is quite possible!

Given that the Russian authorities officially announced the repair and commissioning of this air base, such "information bombs" are reminiscent of an old Soviet joke: "They caught the pale-faced - Chingachguk, Vinneta and Hawkeye and put them in a barn. They sat in the barn for three days, and then Hawkeye saw that the barn had no back wall))))
