Future German Chancellor: Ukraine should remain a gas transit country

126

The position of the recently formed German government is that Ukraine should remain a gas transit country in the future. Berlin intends to support Kiev in this and not allow Russia to abandon the operation of this route for the supply of fuel to Europe.

This opinion was expressed at a press conference by the future German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who will soon replace Angela Merkel in this post.

We advocated that Ukraine remain a transit country for gas. We will continue to do this.

- said the future head of the German government.

In practical terms, the new German authorities will seek to extend the transit contract between Moscow and Kiev. At the same time, the future chancellor supports the position of Washington, which advocates the introduction of anti-Russian sanctions in the event that the Kremlin uses gas exports to Europe for political purposes.

Scholz drew attention to the gravity of the situation on the Ukrainian borders, for the inviolability of which he, in his own words, strongly advocates. He also spoke in favor of making the Normandy format productive again, the purpose of which is to resolve the conflict in Donbas. According to the future chancellor, this can only be achieved through negotiations.

Scholz is expected to take over as early as tomorrow, December 8th.

They are greeted according to their clothes, and they are seen off according to their minds. Let's see!
Although appearances most often reflect the essence of a person, there are times when appearances are deceiving. I had many friends, pleasant-looking, who - in fact - turned out to be very bad people. And there is a fierce-looking friend, but - in fact - the sweetest person.laughing

This is of course possible if in practical terms it will be beneficial to the Russian Federation, but if not, it means to stop transit. And this future future chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Olaf Scholz, does not dare to tell us what, where and why .

          Absolutely accurate definition! Yes
It all depends on Ukraine: if it is normal, friendly to Russia, then there will be transit. Otherwise, not only the transit will dry up, despite all the tricks, but the square itself will shrink considerably.

Precisely on condition that transit through a rusty pipe turns out to be cheaper and more reliable. Here the Federal Republic of Germany has a wide field for activity, let them invest funds into this highway, and then go on. In the meantime, there is no sense in this transit. Or let them refuse the services of Gazprom.

I think it's easier. The elder ordered, here is the future chancellor and sings the opera from hearsay. They already got cold. But the certification schedule has not changed. Actually, Gazprom plays into the hands of it. The longer the certification takes, the longer the gas price tag The gas price tag at the hubs of Europe is kept at maximum heights. At the same time, Miller will eventually understand that most of the production must be processed and developed within the country, and not by driving it abroad. It is necessary to create conditions for the entire European petrochemistry, and the energy sector, to creep into Russia, and in return they receive only electricity, as a product of the final processing, including gas.

And what do you want to say with this list? Great achievements?
BASF AG, Ludwigshafen, Germany - 2005 sales of $ 53,2 billion. Sibur Holding (Moscow) in 2019 - 531,3 billion rubles. Do you need to explain something? It is very good that attention has recently begun to be paid to petrochemistry. But so far, our lag in this area is very significant. And this is the field in which not only Gazprom and Rosneft should work, the entire might of the state should work here. Only this can help our economy to be independent of any energy packages, charters, flows and whims of European and Asian officials. We have everything for this, we just sometimes need a "life-giving pendel", such as from the Japanese, who refused to sell us polymer products for MS-21 wings, for example ...

The world's largest helium plant is not an achievement? Moreover, it was erected in an open field. The same Zapsibneftekhim, one of the largest in the world, was also built from scratch.
The Baden plant cannot be moved just like that, it turned 156 this year.

Everything in the world is relative. If the Amur GPP is compared with an open field, then it is an achievement. And if we compare the development of gas chemistry in a country with huge gas reserves with one in which there is very little gas (Germany, Japan, etc.), then we still look very pale. At the same time, I will emphasize that the country's very attention to this industry today is very positive and very opportune. Better a little late than never. But you must agree that in this matter we are very late to the current political situation. We can even say that the situation itself became possible due to our technological lag, among other things, in the chemical industry. So there is no need to relax, we need to maximize efforts to fully process everything that we extract from Russia. And it is not necessary to compare the ages of factories, but to increase the share of processed from the mined. And then we still have to run and run ...

For the sake of objectivity, I will say that we started producing oil and gas in our country long before Gref and Chubais ... The situation was no better. It must be admitted that we are especially prolific for ideas and accomplishments when we are especially impressed ... We then manage to rebuild entire industries, t.s. in an open field. Someday we will make our own computer for the population. But before that, the Chinese must refuse us ... laughing Otherwise, no way.

Well, Yeltsin clearly threw us (he was given a bas-relief of how you climb from the station to Vashgorod) back in January 1991. Then on August 19, 1991. The next day we woke up in another state, but people wanted it. Yes, at first Gorbachev made two communist parties, and the referendum was not allowed to be held, although we held it, but we did not defend it. Although there is no silver lining, we haven't spilled a drop of blood. Although when the EBNovskaya time began in Russia, there were bandits from Perm, Chechen, Kazan, so they were shot. But our fellows, created WWW and cleaned everyone out within two years. As for the rest, like everywhere else, the people have their own, the politicians have their own, but we are used to it. Well, when you live for more than 50 years, then it's like a fish in water. I will say one thing we do not have shooting in schools and centers. In Russia, people do not understand our life, everything is there that song that was 20 years ago. Now "Karon" children on some scales are at a distance, and the rest are working, but they will not be allowed into the tavern without a vaccine certificate. The Christmas market has begun on the Town Hall Square. I work, I retired at 70 (on benefits at 47).

... The price of Russian gas on the border of Ukraine with Russia should be set on a spot basis, as in Europe

No, this price should be at the junction point of the joint venture, Ukraine. Further, for transportation through the territory of Russia to the border with Ukraine, you need a contract for 5 years, download or pay, with the current Ukrainian prices. And then let them come to an agreement with Ukraine.
There must be fair competition between routes. :)

Needed already yesterday. About the same SP-2, having such a jumper, it would be much easier to negotiate. And for the gasification of Russia and the development of regions, such a bridge will not be harmful.

According to rumors, the difficulty is in the jumper, more precisely in the Power of Siberia-2, and this is never a jumper, this is a whole gas pipeline, a separate jumper will also be needed in order to combine Power-Siberia2 with the first, so the difficulty is that it is very beneficial to Russia, and Russia wants to build it with the financial participation of China. And in China, too, people are on their own.

It is not advisable to do this.
Thus, this will increase the value of the Ukrainian GTS for the EU. Ukraine has huge underground storage facilities.
It turns out that there will be a European intermediary in the sale of gas at the technical capacities of the Ukrainian gas transportation system. Most likely, gas will not become cheaper for the end consumer, Gazprom will lose money in money, the difference will settle in Ukraine and in some sort of EU left-handed reseller company, which will begin to lobby for anti-Russian initiatives.

      Who needs this?
It is easier to close the transit through 404 completely, there are technical possibilities to pump gas through new pipelines, if Europe needs it, they will buy it, if not, let it sit without gas. You can't sell anything by force.

This is a matter of responsibility and investment.

          We don't need that either.
Our option is 0 for transit through Ukraine after 2024 and maybe even earlier.

Two problems need to be completely resolved.

Support for the anti-Russian junta by EU countries for reasons of:
          - energy security, because part of the supplies goes / went through Ukraine.
          - for purely political reasons, as a continuation of the EU's anti-Russian policy.

With zero transit through 404 or the ability to redirect it through alternative routes at any time, everything is brought to the surface.

If we say the chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany squeals, as now, that he needs transit through 404, he cannot say that he is defending the interests of Germany.
Previously, it was possible to manipulate concepts and pass off a pro-American policy contrary to the interests of Germany as a pro-German position. If transit drops to zero in 404. It will be interesting to see the Germans refuse to buy gas from Gazprom not in words, as now, but in deeds.

it is known that Gazprom has repeatedly received offers to sell gas on the Russian-Ukrainian border, but has invariably refused.
KIEV, September 15. / TASS /. Naftogaz of Ukraine insists that Gazprom sell gas on the border of Russia and Ukraine

"Large European companies can offer Gazprom to sell gas at the Ukraine-Russia border and buy out this gas. In order to resolve the situation and increase the EU's energy security, they can subsequently pump this gas into storage facilities and sell it to Ukraine." this situation has all legal grounds (to carry out such an operation - Ed.), it all depends on his decision. Today we received a response from Gazprom that this is impossible - there is no explanation "... the proposal to use a European intermediary company was general from Ukraine and the EU.

As far as I remember, in the winter of 2006 or 2007, Ukraine had nothing to pay for gas for its needs and it began to take transit gas for itself. Gazprom asked consumers in Europe to accept gas at the Russian-Ukrainian border. The Europeans refused, then Gazprom closed the valve on the pipe and became very bad for Europe and "shaking hands".

Ukraine did not carry out unauthorized selection of Russian gas intended for European users, said Sergei Stepashin, head of the Russian Audit Chamber.
“As for violations, they were in Naftogaz, and in our country, this is a matter of contracts. We made an absolutely accurate conclusion that we did not see direct theft in this situation, ”the Russian official said.
He noted that in the last year's situation around gas supplies to Europe through the Ukrainian territory, the Accounts Chamber of Russia and the Accounts Chamber of Ukraine carried out parallel checks of the participants in the supplies.

Germany can buy gas through SP-2, and just give money to Ukraine, as if the gas is bypassed through the Square. Why once again smoke the sky, harm the environment, drive gas around to bypass?

Future German Chancellor: Ukraine should remain a gas transit country

No problem. As soon as the FRG starts supplying gas to Russia, you can at least transport it in cans through Ukraine. In the meantime, Russia decides to whom and how to supply.

It seems that as soon as the discussion of the "gas" topic begins, common sense is turned off for many and an extraordinary excitement begins! I don’t even want to talk about trolls. This news directly confirms the simple idea that I once expressed earlier in the comments to one of the previous similar topics: of course, the EU (and Germany) will seek a new extension of gas transit through Ukraine and there are chances for this. We are dependent on the export of hydrocarbons and cannot promptly (and not promptly too) reorient flows to other markets. Moreover, the question arises: will the reorientation be profitable, equal or unprofitable?

Olaf Scholz is familiar with financial products. Wirecard, Cum-Ex. Otherwise, the technocrat fulfills Washington's wishes.

Well, if they are so fond of suckers, then they can pay for the delivery at the entrance to the Ukrainian GTS, and continue to tinker with them themselves.

Translation from German: Ukraine must remain. At the expense of the Russian Federation.

We advocated that Ukraine remain a transit country for gas. We will continue to do this.
Well, I agree, let it remain, all the more it is not necessary to transit Russian non-environmentally friendly gas, there are a bunch of other suppliers who will fill the Ukrainian GTS instead of Russia.

The position of the recently formed German government is that Ukraine should remain a gas transit country in the future.
Still, the Germans do not want to feed the Square, they are striving to shift this honorable duty onto us! To maintain the status quo again at our expense, so to speak. Scholz is clearly not the one who will offer us adequate and equal. mutually beneficial relationship.

Do the Germans want it? These are their problems. We close a piece of the gas pipeline for repairs for about twenty years and that’s it!

Yes, let Ukraine be a transit country! be called laughing
We have every right to independently determine the routes for pumping gas. If someone is not satisfied, let them buy the “liquid” from mattresses. No one is forcing you to buy gas from Russia.
