US Sixth Fleet flagship sent to the Black Sea "for NATO operations"

According to the entry, the flagship USS Mount Whitney (LCC 20) is sent to the Black Sea to "work with NATO partners and allies in the region." Thus, the United States will once again demonstrate its support for Ukraine and Georgia, since the Americans no longer have partners in this region, there are only NATO allies.
While nothing is known about the plans of the ship, perhaps it will visit Odessa and Batumi, this is not the first visit for the crew to the Black Sea, Mount Whitney participated in the joint exercises of the United States and Ukraine Sea Breese-2018 together with the destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78). By the way, Porter and this time together with Mount Whitney will "show support", he is also sent to the Black Sea. And in 2019, USS Mount Whitney visited the Baltic, he entered the Baltic Sea along with the Canadian frigate St. Johns, where he joined the NATO exercise BALTOPS 2019 as a command ship.
Earlier in the command of the Sixth Fleet reported that on board the command ship USS Mount Whitney (LCC 20) will be officers from the command of the fleet and the command of strike forces and support of the combined naval forces of NATO (STRIKFORNATO).
