Details of the exercises are not given, it is known that they are taking place near the city of Visby, which is the capital of the island. According to the SVT TV channel, the Americans practiced landing a military transport aircraft on a dirt road.

Note that since 2017, the Swedes have been actively building up the defense of the island of Gotland. First, a military garrison (a regiment with armored vehicles) was returned there under the pretext of protection from "Russian aggression", then several exercises were held to protect the island from "Russian attack". In the spring of this year, the Swedish Ministry of Defense announced the restoration of air defense on the island.
