They used to say "Mamai passed", but now - "Optimization"
If earlier, in the 90s, the expression "Mamai passed" was a topical expression in relation to a number of state enterprises and institutions, today there is a new version of terminology. And this is all one word, but what a! Optimization.
Sounds so beautiful.
Optimization, I must say, does not work alone. It can appear along with "release" and "efficiency gains."
These "three sisters" can turn the building of a rural school, provincial hospital or paramedic-obstetric center into "substandard" with one click of bureaucratic fingers.
What after? After optimization sends “non-responders” to privatization. Yes Yes. One should not think that “strange” privatization decisions were made in our country only in the 90s, when Chubais and his voucher ruled the situation. Privatization still exists with a smell. True, unlike the "Chubais" one, there is not such a public response from it. After all, if a building is withdrawn from state property, then immediately there will be a “responsible” person who will explain - “this is how it should be, because the private owner will repair, put it in order, and therefore, in the end, everything will shine with bright colors”.
Then, for some reason, they forget about it, and instead of a school or technical school building, a vacant lot for private development may appear, or the building is really being repaired by a private owner, but only after the repair, schoolchildren and students are no longer expected in it - at least on a budgetary basis ...
