In the near future, an active phase of joint Russian-Algerian maneuvers will begin on the territory of North Ossetia. At the exercises, which will take place on October 11, the military of Russia and Algeria will "liberate" the settlement from "terrorists".

Servicemen of the 58th Combined Arms Army of the RF Armed Forces and the Algerian military will speak out against the conditional militants who seized the settlement and set up their stronghold there. Their joint task will be to liberate the settlement from "terrorists" representing some kind of illegal armed formation.

Before the assault on the settlement, the fighters will conduct reconnaissance with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles and other technical means, block the location of the "militants" and destroy the "terrorists". The operation is also planned to apply Aviation and armored vehicles, in particular, BMP-3 and self-propelled gun mounts "Msta-S". In total, about 200 servicemen of the Armed Forces of the two countries will be involved in the maneuvers.

A joint Russian-Algerian exercise on the territory of the Southern Military District has never been held before. The Algerian servicemen treated them with great interest. To a large extent, this concerns their familiarization with the features of the combat training of servicemen in our country.
