Rejoice that we are able to build corvettes for now! The destroyer will be at least 10 years old, we will be annoying!

Why not? Destroyer 22350M is being created on the basis of frigate 22350, on which all systems have already been tested. True, new engines are needed.

good Alexander! I just can't understand: what a devil project 22350M is positioned as a "frigate", when it's "pure water" - destroyer!
Created on the basis of frigate 22350 ... So what? For ALL parameters - a destroyer !!! drinks

Well, I suppose it would be too bonal to mention the collapse of the 90s. and up to zero. Indeed, in terms of the scale of personnel losses, it was the end of the world for the military-industrial complex in general and shipbuilders in particular. Therefore, we practically started from scratch.

Not quite in the subject of the photo. The updated pr.20380 will be "Aldar-like" - without the mainmast and with the "Barrier" hi

      What exactly is deprecated?

Are the ships more serious, is it frigate 22350 or destroyer 22350M, or corvette 20385?

And they seem to write that
Starting from the second ship of project 20380, the Kortik-M ZRAK is not installed due to the impossibility of its simultaneous deployment together with the Redut air defense system with the possibility of using various types of medium and long-range missiles. For defense against anti-ship missiles, 2 ZAK AK-630M are used.

Just a picture was drawn by a "particularly gifted" comrade.
On the head, which is Guarding, there is one Kortik-M and two AK-630s on the side. On all the rest, instead of the Dirk, there are Redoubt starting cells.
I thought everyone knew that wink

They wrote that the reason for replacing the "Kortik-M" with the AK-630M was even simpler - the groundwork for these ZRAK ended. There was still enough for the first corvette and Indian Talwars - that's all.
Due to the temporary absence of the ZRAK, the same pr. 22350 received the ZAK "Broadsword". Although it was also furnished with "the absence of the need for the missile part of the ZRAK due to the presence of" Redut "". And the domestic 11356, in contrast to the Indian prototype, received AK-630M instead of "Daggers".
The situation with the ZRAK more or less improved after the appearance of "Pantsir-M". But he, as you know, has his own problems.

Deprecated? What exactly? Specifically, this project is outdated or the "corvettes" class itself is not to your liking?
No, I don’t argue, Project 20380 may not be ideal in all respects, but it is being built in series. It is armed no worse (and in some ways even better) than the western frigates. Of course, he can't sink Arlie Burke, but that's not his task at all.
And if you have to sit down and try to draw in your mind an ideal corvette in all respects - then yes, the cruiser will work out winked

Why is that? RCC Uranus may well hit, if it crawls into the affected area, you can even use it from a helicopter. Actually, Burke has a lot of interesting things, but anti-ship Harpoons are equal in terms of striking power and range and do not give an advantage.

Do you personally need it? You are not the commander-in-chief of the Navy, do you have to decide what and how much is needed? Well, or finance a new project.

Much negative was written about her, especially after her first tests on Aldar and Thundering. God knows her, or it was childhood illnesses, or they forgot to modify the electronics with a file.
However, last month at the "Aviation Base" there was talk, they say, Aldar shot again with Redoubt, and this time on a solid five. At the same time, the barrier, according to the same rumors, showed itself from the best side.

Judging by the pace of the construction of ships for the Russian Navy, more precisely, about their shifts, you can bet gentlemen on how many years the Amur Shipyard will move the delivery date of the ship. I really hope that at least this time they won't let you down ... Although in this case there is little hope
