Polish MEP asks who Poland is going to "intimidate" with Abrams tanks

54

None of Poland's neighbors dispute its borders. Based on this, the Polish MEP, representing the Civic Platform party, on his Twitter page asks who Poland is going to "intimidate" tanks Abrams, which the Department of Defense intends to acquire from the United States.

The politician Janina Ohojska believes that at the present time it would be more relevant to direct funds to provide medical workers with decent wages. Such was her reaction to the statement by Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak about a contract for the purchase of Abrams tanks in the United States for the Polish Army.

For expressing such an opinion, the Polish MEP was subjected to a flurry of criticism both from officials and from ordinary Poles. The head of the "Redoubt of a Good Name" analytical center, Maciej Svirsky, even suggested that the questions asked by the representative of the opposition were prompted to her in Russia.

But among the Polish citizens there are many sane people who supported Janina Ochoyska in her questions to the Ministry of Defense.

Whether Poland has Abrams or not, Putin can reach Warsaw in 36-48 hours

- wrote one of them in a comment to the article.

Another comment:

There are really problems with medicine. I put it mildly. But for some reason, American tanks are more important to us, which even cannot cross our bridges everywhere. Bridges are simply not designed for this mass.

However, American tanks can play a positive role even for Polish health workers, paradoxically. For example, the presence of "Abrams" in Warsaw, according to some Polish experts, can become an additional argument for Brussels officials to allocate funds for the salaries of medical personnel in Poland. The alleged reason is that Brussels will see that Poland is a reliable partner of the United States, and therefore will go to allocate additional funds to Warsaw. The logic is very strange.

Ummm ... colleague, the appetizer is not the cheapest these days, but you should not neglect hi This is essentially a yagd tiger of the times of World War II, a pt sai with a colossal mass, possessing a powerful cannon and frontal only armor. Hitler is also not like, for some reason they appeared only at the end of the war and when the maximum it was about counterstrikes and bringing down the pace of the offensive. In fact, Iraq has shown this. And then, the western group went around the main forces of Saddam through the desert and went to Baghdad ... they abstained from the oncoming battle, especially getting bogged down in the cities ... just remember the confusion when one rear column turned around ... the biggest losses were with them, even with the support of tanks

              ----
In 2003, there was no desert detour. Baghdad was attacked head-on, without any siege. There was only one counter battle. The Iraqi National Guard brigade was defeated dry, although it was on a prepared defense. And the Abrams with Bradleys went into the break. The rest of the defenders of the city along the perimeter were out of work and quickly surrendered after the official surrender.
The tanks entered Baghdad directly along the central avenue.

Australia is now more important than Poland, the Baltic states, Ukraine and even Germany. She unexpectedly found herself at the forefront of the world nix. However, like Japan and South Korea. And Taiwan - that is not even an anthill at the tank training ground. This is just a piece of China, where, due to a misunderstanding, the government is dull.
And the Poles will need tanks. Only not on the eastern border, but on the western one. When the Americans have no time for Europe, the Germans will remember the Potsdam Conference.

And they won't pay. The United States will print a loan to them, load their enterprises, then write off this loan, like as allies who strengthen the defense power of the States. In general, this is the transfer of US budget money to the accounts of the owners of US military enterprises. And where is Australia?

I personally am surprised by the Poles: 11 lard of subsidies from the European Union per year and 6 (six! - a large half of the annual sponsorship) go to the purchase of half-dead iron .... And plus the service staff per year. And what about the BZ?

And Poland "itself found" 6 lards in its budget and formally it is completely different zlotys than those allocated by the EU.

Fascism is ONLY a form of state organization.
And a whole bunch of states have tried it, which is quite nothing.
And there is nothing that you put into this concept, there was not even close
But Hitler's Germany was NOT a fascist state. Not in her constitution,
neither in the names of the governing bodies, nor in the charter of the ruling NSNRP, nor in its
the program, not a single governing document speaks of fascism.
Those. - legally, documentary - this is not confirmed.
The Nuremberg trial went on for a long time, it was prepared and led by prominent lawyers of the countries

Polish MEP asks who Poland is going to "intimidate" with Abrams tanks

I wonder how much they brought to the deputy?
In general, all this around the topic of the Polish Abrams is already so tired.
It is enough to turn on the head to understand the obvious things, namely: the M1A2C is the most modern tank, which the Poles will replace their T-72M with. 250 units M1A2C - will replace almost 600 units. T-72M.
Conventional rearmament from old equipment to new. What are the laughs?

And why not the Leopard, but the Abrams? Because the Germans are 250 units. Leo will do it for decades, and the Americans will do it in 3-4 years. There is a difference, right?
