The American landing in the province of Deir ez-Zor led to the death of civilians
The landing of an American assault force as part of an anti-terrorist operation in the Syrian province of Deir ez-Zor resulted in the death of three civilians. This is reported by the Syrian news SANA agency.
According to the newspaper, the Americans landed troops from helicopters in the village of Esh-Shahil on the right bank of the Euphrates in order to detain the terrorists. When landing, they opened fire on residential buildings and outbuildings, which ultimately led to the death of three civilians.
After the landing, the Americans, with whom fighters of the Kurdish armed formations from the SDS (Forces of Democratic Syria) acted, stormed several houses, seized there, allegedly terrorists, and then took them away in an unknown direction. There was no clarification from the United States on this matter.
It is noted that this is not the first operation of this kind carried out by the United States together with the Kurds in recent years. This week, on Thursday, in a similar manner, groups of detainees were also taken to an unknown destination from the villages of Basitain and Al-Jasemi in the north of Deir ez-Zor province, and on September 7, an operation was carried out in the Tell Khamis area in Hasak province. True, the Americans said there that they had detained the terrorists "IS" (the Islamic State is a terrorist group banned in Russia).
Recall that the territory of northeastern Syria is controlled by the Kurds from the SDF and there are eight or already nine American military bases located here. The Americans are supporting the Kurds who control the Syrian oil and gas fields. As stated in Damascus, the United States is in the country illegally, and military bases are used to train militants who oppose government forces.
