Ukrainian airborne assault forces worked out joint landing with American paratroopers

In Ukraine, the next stage of the Rapid Trident - 2021 multinational exercise took place, during which the airborne assault forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine worked out a joint landing with the military personnel of partner countries. This is reported by the official publication of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine "ArmyInform".

According to the published information, in the framework of the exercises, the joint landing of Ukrainian paratroopers with the Americans and military personnel of other countries was worked out. The landing was carried out from the American military transport aircraft C-130 "Hercules", the parachute system was also used by the American T-11. It is emphasized that all Ukrainian paratroopers allowed to jump with the Americans have undergone additional training under the guidance of US Air Force instructors.

It is noted that together with the Ukrainian and American paratroopers, the military personnel of the Military Law Enforcement Service from the multinational Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian brigade LITPOLUKRBRIG practiced the landing.

The exercise was highly appreciated by the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel-General Alexander Syrsky.

The Ukrainian-American military exercises Rapid Trident-2021 started on September 20 and will last until October 1, 2021. They take place on the territory of the Lviv region. In total, about 6 thousand servicemen from 13 countries were involved in the exercises.
