Sea trials of the second serial nuclear-powered strategic submarine Generalissimus Suvorov of Project 955A Borey-A will begin in 2022. Currently, the submarine cruiser is being prepared for launching.
As Vladimir Korolev, deputy general director of USC for military shipbuilding, explained, equipment is being installed on the cruiser, before the end of which a large amount of work is required. The APRKSN is being prepared for launching, but the exact date at Sevmash cannot yet be named, it will be determined later. It is emphasized that all work is proceeding according to schedule, without disruptions.

Today, four Boreas are in service with the Russian Navy, of which three projects 955 (Borey) of the 4th generation - the strategic missile cruisers Yuri Dolgoruky, Alexander Nevsky and Vladimir Monomakh, as well as one submarine missile carrier modernized project "Borey-A" - "Prince Vladimir".
The fifth strategic cruiser, aka the first serial of the modernized project "Borey-A" - "Prince Oleg", will become part of fleet before the end of this year. Now he is completing state tests.
