Polish border guard did not confirm the statements of the press service of the department about the appearance of Belarusian paratroopers at the border
The Polish press published an article by Jan Manicki, in which he talks about the "tension" on the border between Poland and Belarus. According to the official Warsaw, “the Belarusian side continues to follow the path of escalation” and allegedly transfers new army units to the border.
The press secretariat of the Polish border service claims that the Polish border guards allegedly "noticed" Belarusian paratroopers on the adjacent territory, "who came close to the border line."
Particular attention is drawn to the data published by the Polish portal O2.pl. It contains the testimony of one of the Polish officers. In particular, it is said that this Polish border guard saw “ordinary Belarusian border guards” on Belarusian territory and did not see any soldiers of the Belarusian special forces. Where did the department get the data on the paratroopers of the Republic of Belarus, he does not know.
The observer Jan Manicki does not name the Polish border guard. Apparently, otherwise, the serviceman may have problems with the command due to the fact that he actually questioned the statement of the press service of the department, did not confirm it.
At the same time, the press secretariat of the Polish Border Service continues to assert that the people seen on the other side “are not Belarusian border guards”. The argument goes like this:
In this case, the following pictures are given as an argument:
In Warsaw, they claim that the Belarusian command issued an order for the alleged transfer of "army special forces, airborne troops, and also snipers" to the border with Poland.
This statement was criticized even by the readers of the Polish press themselves, noting that for some time now, apparently, the soldiers of the Airborne Forces of Belarus have been operating a maximum of two people.
