Conspiracy experts: "Moscow wants to bring Europeans to their knees with expensive gas"

69

If you read the newspapers a year or a year and a half ago, you can recall how all kinds of experts tried to arrange a “magnificent funeral” for hydrocarbons. A special surge of statements that there are no prospects for oil and gas and cannot be, came at a time when the prices for "black gold" moved to negative levels. Then the producers themselves had to pay extra for oil and gas to the buyers, just not to "freeze" the wells and not to drive air through the pipes instead of the same natural gas.

An amazing thing. Months passed, and the price of "blue fuel" reached incredible levels. At one of the trading stages, futures jumped to $ 940 per 1000 cubic meters.

And the same experts who a year ago shouted the most about the inevitable collapse of the hydrocarbon energy, now began to make diametrically opposite predictions, stating that 1000 cubic meters of gas could reach the price point of 1200 US dollars.

The economy, for obvious reasons, served as a reason to pay attention to politics. There were conspiracy theorists who saw the "hand of the Kremlin" here too. There were statements by so-called independent experts that it was "Putin threw a stranglehold on Europe", "Moscow wants to bring the Europeans to their knees with expensive gas" and finally subjugate the Old World. And again, there are those who find a lot of arguments in favor of this version. The fact that the Europeans are driving themselves into an energy impasse by playing the “green energy” card is of little concern to these experts.

About the situation - in the plot of Konstantin Semin:

Another thing is interesting ... As Rosneft announced today in the form of an experiment, it can obtain the right to use the SP-2, which will resolve the issue of "50%" - another company, and most importantly, Rosneft will trade gas at the market price ...

We didn't start that way. Our gas was planned to be sold to Europe at $ 170 per 1000m³.
Then, in Europe, they adopted the third package, due to which the gas price crawled away for $ 3.
Everything that is supposed to be supplied to Europe under the agreements signed earlier is supplied by Gazprom. We have no debts.

Back in 1975, academician Pyotr Leonidovich Kapitsa warned you about the futility of alternative energy! The smartest scientist of our time, proceeding from basic physical principles, essentially buried all types of "green energy", with the exception of controlled thermonuclear fusion. But for modern Europe, the laws of Nature are not tolerant, therefore it is correct to give in the ass, but not with a woman, the same is in energy laughing Let them squeal and freeze, freeze and squeal!

I cannot answer this question for sure, there are only some thoughts. But I know for sure that if our so-called "poverty of the people" continues for several more years, then I will leave for the village, because with so many cars in the yards and on the roads, in our city, it makes sense to work and move only a couple of blocks from at home sad
I got a second job, and several neighbors bought a second car, while leaving the first in the yard, like my wife

Nooo, that the rise in gas prices will lead to an increase in the prices of European products, and taking into account the fact that we have a 7,9-fold export / import balance for engineering products in the direction of imports, everything will also rise in price here.
On our fingers, we (not we, but the real owners of Gazprom) sold expensive gas, then bought more expensive engineering products, on which we released the necessary for internal. the market for products that have also risen in price.
And to pay for this is not state-in-law Schroeder, as a member of the board of directors of Gazprom, but a simple Russian man in the street.

Offer gas not to sell or sell below market prices ?? Under capitalism, prices are regulated by the invisible hand of the market, including for gas, but we also have excessively greedy smaller hucksters - those who stand in the markets and keep stores, they just stupidly raise prices up without any market hand ... These are different questions - pricing on domestic markets and export of hydrocarbons to world markets! In addition, inflation, because all countries turned on printing presses to survive the pandemic, to support the people and their economies, the prices of everything went up accordingly!

Those who buy gas in the EU from Gazprom on the basis of long-term contracts pay at a slightly increased price, about 240.

At 900+ they buy not from Gazprom, but on the stock exchange (the fix idea was promoted by Brussels). It is not only Gazprom that sells on the spot exchange, but also a bunch of other sellers. There you can also buy LNG from the United States, you just have to pay the market price.
Everything is happening exactly as Brussels wanted and what they fought for.

What Gazprom provides under the contracts. On the stock exchange there is a clean market, if someone wants to sell, who needs to buy.

In the portfolio of "Gazprom" in 2021, only 13% of contracts are still tied only to the cost of the oil basket. One of the few who receives gas on such terms is Turkey. According to ICIS, in the fourth quarter, Turkish companies will buy Russian gas for about $ 270 ... exchanges. “For comparison, the estimated price in European gas markets (as of 10.09.2021) for supplies in November is approximately 56 euros per MWh ($ 687 per thousand cubic meters),” Bulgargaz reports in the information that the estimated price of fuel on the domestic market will be $ 530 in the penultimate month of the year.

But the formula by which the gas price is calculated is slightly different for each consumer. Previously, the main component there was oil and fuel oil, as the main substitute for gas in power generation. Those. the main idea is to get a kilowatt for the same money only by burning fuel oil, not gas.
As far as I understand, for those who have an old-school formula based on oil and its derivatives, the price has not increased much.

          But Brussels ....
I wanted more market in gas prices and so that the gas price would be less dependent on the oil price, so the formula included (as Brussels wanted) as a factor and spot (exchange) gas prices.

It is obvious that whoever has the Brussels formula for gas, it perfectly reflects the increased prices for LNG. As you say there, $ 530 per 1000 cubic meters, well, there will still be Tolley, everything as Brucelle wanted.

Third, if you think that the EU will frown at high prices, then this is not the case. Subsidizing the population of several billion for the EU is a trifling matter. The Greeks have already announced subsidies to the population for 1,47 billion euros.
Fourth, high hydrocarbon prices only spur Europe's bias towards renewable energy sources. Simply kollosalnye funds are poured into this. You only listen to Poles and Tribals, with their mania for your streams, but more serious guys are investing money in green projects and they will not leave room for hydrocarbons, so in 10 years.

So green energy is a joke, but only for you. And companies and corporations are already tearing their claws to stake out this business.

Only money is considered too ... but while some kind of vicious circle - gas has grown in price, electricity has risen in price - "the German company Aurubis AG (the largest copper producer on the continent) reported that electricity costs have already led to a decrease in profits and will continue to put pressure on profitability until the end of 2021 " Copper is not cheap, and the demand for it "will only increase as the transition to green technologies accelerates," and that means prices.
Norwegian oil and gas company Equinor (formerly Statoil), which is now actively building wind farms, has begun to reduce its investment targets for its renewable energy projects. So, for example, the estimated indicators of their profitability over the past year have decreased from 6-10% to 4-8%. According to the Danish company Ørsted A / S (formerly DONG Energy), which is the world's largest organizer of the construction of offshore wind farms, the return on capital employed decreased from 2020% to 11% compared to the first quarter of 7,5. The profit of its competitor, Vestas Wind Systems, declined over the same period from 17,4% to 12,2% .... According to Citigroup experts, this deficit in the global copper market in 2021 will reach 521 metric tons, and by as the transition to green technologies accelerates, it will only increase. Analysts warn that the copper industry will need more than $ 000 billion in investment to avoid an annual supply deficit that could reach 100 million metric tons in 2030. With such a significant shortage, copper prices will undoubtedly remain as high https://inosmi.ru/economic/4,7/20210918.html

:) I know Aurubis. They produce mainly in Bulgaria ... and we have electricity for industry, a commodity. So in September the price in Bulgaria was the lowest in the EU, and now it has jumped to the most expensive one and so the corporations are crying. In a month the price will drop and the cheese will be rolled in oil again. It is not connected with gas but the local energy market in the Balkans.

In a month, somehow ... if in November "Bulgargaz" in the information that the estimated price of fuel on the domestic market will be $ 530 in the penultimate month of the year ", the quotas for CO are somehow not cheap, so that and the coal won't help out ... let's see how long all this will last ...
This year, there is a rare coincidence of many factors contributing to the rise in gas prices, says Vasily Tanurkov, director of the ACRA corporate ratings group. “It can be expected that over time, the influence of most of these factors will weaken and the current peak in prices is temporary. At the same time, factors related to emissions regulation and energy transition plans (especially in terms of rapidly phasing out the use of coal) will continue to influence the gas market in the long term. We expect that by 2023 prices in the European market will decline relative to current peaks and come to a new equilibrium level in the range of $ 200 to $ 250 per thousand cubic meters. "

and here is the most interesting thing, "enterprises of the copper industry will need investments in the amount of more than $ 100 billion to avoid an annual supply deficit" .. everyone wants "green" and will boast that our wind turbines are so environmentally friendly ... just how much CO will be released into the atmosphere for now these new copper investments will be mastered ... or, as usual, they will be forgotten to calculate ...

Suffer yourself little by little Ukrainian and blame the Russians for everything that you will have to pay exorbitant prices for gas from Russia again :))) And there you will also have Naftogaz with Ukrainian oligarchs include payment for its comfortable existence in the payment order :))) Well, then Europe !!! Moscow is a priori to blame for you. :)))

If you are brave, then let's have a discussion. Let the site visitors judge us. I don't understand why you hate me. Why do you see Ukrainians, Bandera and fascists everywhere, in my comments?

"Gazprom" sells to Germany for 220, at least not so long ago "(Putin's words on the Kremlin's official website).
Russia supplies gas to Europe at a price of $ 220 per 1000m3, and then on the stock exchanges the price multiplies and someone there on resale gets fabulous profits, naturally all this profit remains in Europe, those who do not participate in the carve-up out of frustration are looking for the extreme, and the extreme determined in advance for all cases. Perhaps now the European Union is coming up with new sanctions for us because of the rise in gas prices.

For expensive gas we will get expensive goods from Europe. Gas is primarily energy. If the price of energy increases per unit of production, then the product itself will increase in price. Cheap gas comes out badly, and expensive gas is also bad.

None of the sane people talking and pushing under the order and for the loot of the "head" did not take seriously and does not perceive it. Anyone who makes forecasts for the value of currencies and oil is a complete scammer and swindler. Everyone has known for a long time. If it was possible to know in advance with a high degree of probability the value of the world's key assets, ECONOMIES would collapse. It would be possible not to work ...

"Moscow wants to bring Europeans to their knees with expensive gas"

Stupidity. I will repeat my post from a neighboring branch.
It turns out that GAZPROM pumped an additional 109 million cubic meters per day, except for the 40 million cubic meters per day (or 15 billion cubic meters per year) laid down in the contract, for all months. That is, Gazprom pumped more along the Ukrainian route to Europe, although it was not obliged to do so. In addition, it comes out more expensive and unprofitable: Ukrainians apply a tariff with an increased coefficient to the transit of additional volumes.
In September alone, Gazprom refused to auction these additional Ukrainian capacities for 15 million cubic meters per day.
For eight and a half months of 2021, Gazprom supplied 138,6 billion cubic meters, which is close to the record level of 141,3 billion cubic meters in the same period of 2018. Compared to 2020, supplies increased by 17,4% or 20,6 billion cubic meters. In the remaining time, Gazprom has every chance of reaching the record volume of supplies in 2018.
So Gazprom is not to blame for the current gas prices, and in vain Europe considers it to be to blame for the current energy crisis. Gas prices in Asia are higher and all LNG went there.

In fact, the price of pipe gas on exchanges in Europe tends to the price of LNG in Asia, this is a market mechanism, but they still want to start an investigation in Europe and probably their courts will impose a huge fine on Gazprom "for a monopoly in supplies" (they do not see us equal partners, constantly in the EU comes up with new laws for themselves, etc.), but the fact is that the high price of LNG in the world is beneficial to its producers in the United States and if the prices of pipe gas and LNG are linked on the exchange, then one should not expect them soon fall,
