Extremely brief information. I wonder if there will be remote control of the turret from inside the car and what the folding tarpaulin roof will look like in case of bad weather.
And I don’t understand aiming ATGM with rotating handles, something must be more convenient, especially since the car has both an engine and a battery for electric drives.

I wonder, starting from what class of mine protection, the technique can be considered MRAP?
After all, the previous 3- and 4-axle Typhoons were also with increased mine protection.

For a very long time, "ours went to this path" ...
The South African "Kaspir", as the first MRAP, appeared almost 40 years ago, and has proven itself in all regional wars in which it took part.

South Africa in this sense, probably, were the pioneers
but they also created others - cheap, unpretentious. African version

The need for escort vehicles was still in Afghanistan. The existing BTR-70, and then the BTR-80, were not quite suitable for such functions.

A reasonable question. In my, inexperienced opinion, there is a little bit of everything. A car, like the BTR-70, it is complex, there are only 20 cardan shafts. The engine power of the 70th is insufficient, the BTR-80 seems to be better with this, one diesel KAMAZ engine is already installed. Accordingly, the service life, although noticeably higher than that of tracked vehicles, is also far from endless. Visibility from the inside is poor on the sides, it is practically nonexistent. The armament is weak and the turret has no high-speed electric drives, as well as the stabilizer. That is, instead of a 14,5 machine gun, they could have installed at least a 80 mm cannon on the BTR-23 from the memory, there would have already been an increase in firepower. And the tower, as it was primitive from the BTR-60, and migrated practically unchanged, both on the BTR-70, and then on the BTR-80. And about the lack of booking, you can see that the car under discussion has it much better.
More or less, the BRDM-2 was suitable for the escort vehicle, but it has the same drawbacks as the BTR-70. And a weak engine, and insufficient armor, and the same primitive tower with KPVT from the 60s of the last century.

So maybe it's time to make an armored personnel carrier -22 and finish with these crafts "skillful hands"?

I think we need to create a good illustrated magazine. Collect there ALL samples of army wheeled vehicles that our designers have navoyed for 20 years. I think the magazine will be thick, more than 30 samples. Many are already confused, but everything is at hand. I think we have made more samples than we have produced in series. Who finances them? request

So I'm wondering, 14 tons 350 hp, and it is not written what kind of motor they installed, Yaroslavl motors are even more powerful, but they are only put in the cab because of their dimensions.
      Looks like a foreigner!

Somehow this is wrong ... IMHO, MRAP should be a converted serial truck (so that it is inexpensive and massively made and inexpensively operated) with several large-caliber machine guns, possibly with automatic grenade launchers, but not with ATGMs, holding armor-piercing 7.62 from all projections and distances (better than 12.7, but this is problematic for the base of the truck) and 4-8 kg of TNT under any wheel, equipped with IR surveillance devices. The task is to escort the columns or a temporary basis for checkpoints.
And this is an ordinary combat vehicle.

Something I do not understand the logic, increased mine protection, and the combat module is open, is that 200 at once in an explosion, or even from a shock wave and the entire crew?
